Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using modern frameworks (Angular or similar).

  • Build, deploy, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python (FastAPI) and/or Node.js.

  • Develop and manage microservices and ensure seamless integration and scalability across platforms.

  • Utilize and integrate GCP services (e.g., Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, API Gateway, Firestore, BigQuery, etc.) for application development and deployment.

  • Implement secure and scalable RESTful APIs adhering to best practices.

  • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for efficient data storage, access, and management.

  • Participate in CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance for automated build, test, and deployment workflows.

  • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure application quality and reliability.

  • Follow security best practices in coding, deployment, and data handling.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI/UX, QA, DevOps, Product Management) to deliver high-quality software solutions.

  • Perform code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in development practices.

Basic Qualifications (Essential):
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Strong proficiency in web development (Angular or a similar modern JavaScript framework).

  • Hands-on experience in backend development using Python (FastAPI) and/or Node.js.

  • Proven experience in microservices architecture and containerized deployments.

  • Experience working with GCP services (Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, API Gateway, Firestore, and/or BigQuery).

  • Proficiency in designing and implementing secure, scalable RESTful APIs.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools.

  • Strong understanding of database systems (both SQL and NoSQL).

  • Solid grasp of secure coding practices and application security principles.

  • Experience with testing frameworks (unit, integration, and end-to-end testing).

  • Proficient in Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration.

Other Qualifications (Good to Have):
  • Experience with Docker for containerization and deployment.

  • Advanced experience in CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI).

  • Knowledge of cloud-native architecture and serverless computing.

  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana).

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
