The Digital Modernization Sector has an opening for a Software Developer/Cloud Engineer to support a large Healthcare program.

Candidate MUST:

Leidos is seeking a Developer (Power Platform/Cloud/Apps) to support ARPA-H, an organization focused on accelerating high-impact, transformative health research. Leidos supports ARPA-H with IT support, design, development, and implementation to advance this mission. This role is a technical developer who drives solution design and delivery across Microsoft Power Platform, partnering closely with stakeholders, Enterprise Systems team, and other Agile teams to deliver secure, maintainable, and scalable applications. To accelerate delivery and improve quality, this role is expected to apply modern, AI-assisted development practices in a responsible, controlled way, using tools such as GitHub Copilot to help generate repetitive code, scripts, tests, and documentation while maintaining strong engineering standards, review discipline, and compliance with Leidos policies.

Required technical skills

  • Experience delivering solutions with Microsoft Power Platform:

  • Power Apps (Model-driven and Canvas)

  • Dataverse (data modeling, table design, security, validation)

  • Power Automate (cloud flows, governance-minded automation design)

  • Power BI (reports, dashboards, data modeling)

  • Strong understanding of ALM practices for Power Platform and multi-environment delivery (Dev/Stage/Prod), including deployment discipline and configuration management.

  • Experience working in an Agile delivery model and translating requirements into implementable technical outcomes.

  • Working knowledge of one or more of the following for customization/integration:

  • JavaScript

  • C#

  • HTML/CSS

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant technical experience (additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree, depending on contract requirements).

  • Must be currently located in the United States and be able to obtain a Public Trust (Level 4).

  • Demonstrated ability to serve as a technical lead on delivery teams by setting engineering direction, defining standards/patterns, and guiding implementation across the Power Platform—without personnel management responsibilities.

  • Proven experience owning delivery for complex solutions end-to-end (requirements translation, design, build, testing, release, and sustainment) in an Agile/Scrum environment.

  • Strong customer-facing communication skills, including the ability to lead technical discussions, provide clear status/risk updates, and deliver effective demos/briefings.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience as a full stack developer

  • Experience building Power Pages / Power Apps Portals (including web forms and portal configuration).

  • Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with external systems via APIs/connectors (as applicable to the environment).

  • Experience developing modern solutions that leverage AI-assisted development practices in a controlled, compliant environment.

Pay Range:Pay Range $69,550.00 - $125,725.00
