The Money Platform team is the foundation of Robinhood's credit card and money products. We design and operate the critical systems that power seamless, customer-centric financial experiences at scale. Our systems support real-time transactions and robust financial operations with an emphasis on reliability and performance.

As a Software Engineer on the Money Platform team, you’ll build backend systems that enable Robinhood’s most ambitious financial products. From scaling payment infrastructure to designing secure, high-throughput services, you’ll contribute to the technical backbone of our money movement and credit card systems. Your work will directly impact the experience of millions of customers!

This role is based in our Bellevue, WA, Menlo Park, CA or New York, NY office(s), with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

  • Build and launch major new features that power Robinhood’s flagship credit card and money offerings.
  • Solve complex engineering challenges, from scaling distributed systems to ensuring rock-solid performance.
  • Design systems that will support millions of users while enabling seamless integrations with world-class financial partners.
  • Drive innovation at the intersection of software engineering and financial technology, shaping the backbone of the Robinhood Credit Card's success.

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.

$166,000$195,000 USD
Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL)
$147,000$172,000 USD
Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL)
$130,000$152,000 USD
