You may have noticed that our headquarters are in Boise, ID, but our workforce is fully remote in the following states: Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Wisconsin. All team-wide meetings are scheduled to be inclusive of U.S. time zones.
Job Overview
We’re looking for a part-time Social Media Specialist to help fuel KCL’s high-frequency posting strategy on Facebook. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our deal-hunting community stays engaged with the latest and best savings opportunities — posting every 15-30 minutes on Facebook and maintaining a consistent presence.
This position is ideal for someone who lives and breathes smart shopping, loves social media, and thrives in a fast-paced digital environment. You’ll work closely with the Facebook & Community Channel Senior Manager to ensure that content is optimized for engagement, reach, and click-through rates.
Key Responsibilities
- Post high-volume deal content to Facebook every 15-30 minutes during assigned shifts, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and engagement.
- Maintain a consistent and compelling Facebook presence, including posts, Reels, and Stories.
- Write concise, engaging captions that drive clicks, shares, and conversation.
- Quickly react to trends and breaking deals, adjusting content to maximize impact.
- Ensure all posts align with KCL’s brand voice and audience interests.
- Monitor post performance and make real-time optimizations based on engagement and traffic data.
- Engage with KCL’s community by responding to comments and fostering conversation.

Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in social media content creation, digital marketing, or community engagement.
- Strong writing skills with a knack for punchy, persuasive social copy.
- Experience using social media scheduling tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Later).
- Knowledge of Facebook analytics and performance tracking.
- Passion for deal content, e-commerce, and smart shopping.
