Vision:
To create a better world that unlocks opportunities through universal access and individual ownership.

About the Role:

Sui Foundation is seeking a Senior Social Media Marketing Manager to own social strategy, content, and channel growth across our platforms. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role: our social channels are among the most important marketing surfaces for the organization, and this person will directly shape how Sui shows up in the world.
An ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and skilled executor who can translate complex narratives into compelling, platform-native content, leverage AI tools to move faster, and use data to guide decisions. This person will collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional partners across partnerships, product, design, and communications.

This is a contract opportunity with an expected full-time workload (approximately 40 hours/week). Compensation is $60–75 USD/hour, depending on experience.
Location: This is a remote position open to candidates located in North American time zones, the UK, Europe, and select Middle East countries. Candidates should have at least 4 hours of overlap with Pacific Time (PT).

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy & Channel Ownership

  • Own social strategy across Sui Foundation's platforms, with a primary focus on X/Twitter.

  • Manage and grow 5+ brand accounts on X/Twitter, ensuring consistent voice and strategic alignment.

  • Set KPIs and benchmarks; own growth, engagement, and conversion outcomes.

  • Identify emerging channel opportunities and make data-backed recommendations on platform investment.

Content Strategy & Creation

  • Lead social-native content strategy, translating brand narratives, product moments, and campaigns into content that performs.

  • Produce and direct high-quality content across formats, with a strong emphasis on video: short-form, livestreams, and serialized content.

  • Develop an editorial point of view balancing always-on content with high-impact campaign moments.

  • Brief and collaborate with design, motion, and creative partners to bring concepts to life.

AI-Powered Workflows

  • Use AI tools to speed up content creation, ideation, research, and publishing.

  • Identify and implement AI-driven processes that boost output and efficiency without sacrificing brand integrity.

  • Stay current on the AI tooling landscape and bring forward-thinking recommendations to the team.

Performance & Reporting

  • Own performance tracking and key results across all organic social channels.

  • Translate data into clear insights and report to leadership on a regular cadence.

  • Use learnings to iterate on content strategy, creative approach, and posting cadence.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication

  • Serve as the social media lead for cross-functional teams, including partnerships, product, design, events, and communications.

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on cohesive narratives and consistent execution.

  • Communicate strategy, results, and recommendations clearly to senior leadership.

Community Engagement

  • Monitor channels for trends, sentiment, and real-time engagement opportunities.

  • Engage independently and respond thoughtfully to strengthen community relationships and brand credibility.

Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of social media and content marketing experience, with direct ownership of strategy and execution.

  • Deep fluency in social-native culture and audiences (bonus: Crypto Twitter/X, builder communities, developer ecosystems).

  • Experience with Web3, crypto or emerging technology sectors.

  • Demonstrated track record of growing social channels and driving measurable impact.

  • Strong editorial instincts translating complex technical and narrative topics into platform-native content.

  • Hands-on experience with video content streaming, production, and direction for social platforms.

  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools for content creation and workflow optimization.

  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable using data to guide strategy and report to leadership.

  • Experience managing multiple accounts, balancing high-volume always-on content with campaign priorities.

  • Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills; able to drive work forward independently across multiple workstreams.

  • Experience briefing and working with designers and creative partners.

  • Familiarity with social publishing, scheduling, and listening tools.
