We have an opportunity within the Infoblox Internship Program for a Social Media Marketing Intern to join our Corporate Marketing team in the U.S., supporting our Social Media Lead. This is a paid 40 hour/week remote summer internship that may be based anywhere within the continental United States.

In this internship, you will gain hands‑on experience contributing to our social media strategy and daily channel management, while gaining exposure to enterprise marketing and collaborating with cross‑functional teams across the organization.

You are an ideal candidate if you are passionate about the intersection of social media and technology, thrive in a fast‑paced environment, are comfortable navigating ambiguity, and are a strong written and verbal communicator.


Be a Contributor — What You’ll Do 

  • Support community management, content development and social media strategy  
  • Monitor social platforms, identifying opportunities to engage with our community or flag areas of attention, when/where necessary 
  • Schedule and manage content across social media platforms including X, LinkedIn, Mastodon, and our internal employee social media advocacy tool, GaggleAMP 
  • Maintain and organize social media calendar and schedules, ensuring content balance is congruent with best practices and aligned with top performing content insights 
  • Assist in drafting and creating engaging social content, imagery, and video assets using Canva and other creative tools as needed 
  • Pull, populate, and assess data for reporting purposes 
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for new content ideas and activations 
  • Support the Social Media Lead in daily tasks 

Be Prepared — What You Bring 

  • A passion for social media, understanding what drives interest, interaction and motivation to engage 
  • Prior social media experience using LinkedIn for a company is a big plus; familiarity with Instagram, X and YouTube is also a plus, including vertical video on those platforms 
  • An interest in technology, especially fundamental enterprise tech that fuels fast-paced business. Bonus if you know anything about or have an interest in networking and cybersecurity 
  • Experience with the BrandWatch social media management platform and/or Canva design studio or other social media management and design platforms 
  • A passion for analytics and a keen ability to understand the story being told by the data; Google Analytics or Tableau experience is a plus 
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment 
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and able to switch gears quickly to work on multiple projects at a time  

Education: 

  • Junior or Senior currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in journalism, mass communication, marketing, public relations or another relevant area of study.
