About the role
We’re seeking a creative, driven, and curious Social Media Marketing Intern to join our Marketing team with a strong focus on social media strategy and execution. This role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling, content creation, and digital engagement.
You’ll gain hands-on experience managing content across multiple platforms and brands, collaborating with designers and marketers, and contributing to campaigns that directly impact visibility and growth. This is a unique opportunity to learn from a seasoned team while building a portfolio of professional, real-world work that will set you apart in your marketing career. This is an honorarium-based position.
What you'll do
Social Media Content Creation & Scheduling
- Create engaging, brand-aligned content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), and YouTube.
 - Collaborate with designers to produce carousels, graphics, Reels, and stories.
 - Draft and manage social media calendars, adapting tone and visuals for each brand.
 - Write compelling captions and maintain a consistent brand voice.
 - Use tools like Canva and HubSpot to design and publish content.
 - Support content creation across 4 different brands.
 
Campaign Support
- Assist in developing sales and marketing collateral (digital one-pagers, ad visuals, etc.).
 - Monitor campaign performance and learn to generate actionable insights from analytics.
 
Analytics & Reporting
- Track social media performance using HubSpot Analytics.
 - Help prepare reports on engagement, reach, and audience growth.
 - Explore A/B testing and data-driven improvements to optimize content.
 
Events & Internal Communications
- Support event-related promotions and partner announcements.
 - Contribute to go-to-market campaigns and brand initiatives across Tidal’s client portfolio.
 
Qualifications
- Reliable, proactive, and able to manage responsibilities with minimal oversight.
 - Prior experience in social media management, digital marketing, or communications (agency or in-house).
 - Strong creative mindset with video editing skills (Reels, Stories, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
 - Proficient in Canva; Nice to have: CapCut, Sora, or other editing tools.
 - Excellent writing and copyediting skills with attention to tone and detail.
 - Strong visual eye and high attention to detail.
 - Organized and skilled at time management across multiple priorities.
 - Familiar with digital marketing best practices and trends.
 - Eager to learn, receptive to feedback, and collaborative in approach.
