Job Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION
- Daily interpretation of customer delivery requirements into shipping schedule utilizing Cumulative Sums (CUM's). Monitoring ahead and behind schedule conditions and alert corresponding parties (production, customer).
- Adjust CUM's as needed.
- Daily preparation of packing slips, transmitting Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN's), pick list.
- Daily contact with customers of Drive Automotive.
- Daily communication with the scheduler of Drive Automotive to review the delivery requirements and container requirements.
- Preparing reports required by supervisor and management with regards to shipping schedules both short and long term.
- Perform other duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have high school diploma/GED
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screen
- Must have at least one year of experience in a manufacturing setting
- Shipping and Receiving experience preferred
- SAP experience a plus
SKILLS
- Six months related experience and/or training with shipping and receiving
- At least one year of manufacturing experience
- SAP Experience
- Experience dealing with customers and suppliers, preferred
