Montage is looking for two SharePoint Online Power Users – Migration Specialists to support a dynamic federal contract. Qualified candidates will have the skills, experience, and attention to detail needed to effectively execute manual migration from SharePoint 2019 to SharePoint Online, develop strategies to support the manual migration process, and effectively collaborate with team leaders and stakeholders.
These are full-time, one-year federal contract positions, with possible option to extend, working from the employee’s home office.

About the RoleWe are seeking a highly detail-oriented SharePoint Online Power User with strong hands-on experience manually migrating content from SharePoint 2019 to SharePoint Online to support a federal contract. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting the government’s modernization efforts by ensuring high-quality page migration where automated tools cannot be used. This position requires a strong understanding of SharePoint’s structure, content types, web parts, and permissions.
Requirements- Active Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Public Trust clearance preferred; ability to obtain required.
- Demonstrated experience working with SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint Online, especially around site structure, publishing features, and web parts.
- Proven ability to manually recreate SharePoint pages in the modern SharePoint Online framework.
- Experience with ShareGate or similar migration tools (training can be provided).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Basic knowledge of SharePoint Online administration, such as permission structures, site settings, and content types.
- Perform manual migration of SharePoint 2019 site pages to SharePoint Online, ensuring layout, functionality, and content integrity are preserved.
- Identify pages or components unsuitable for automated migration and develop clear strategies for their manual recreation in the SharePoint Online environment.
- Collaborate closely with team leads to validate migrated content against quality and accessibility standards.
- Support content owners and stakeholders during validation and post-migration testing.
- Document migration procedures and contribute to a knowledge base of SharePoint Online best practices.
- Experience working with federal contracts, strongly preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 GCC or GCC High, preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage page inventories and migration logs.
- Ability to work independently and communicate progress and blockers effectively to project leadership.
- Ability to learn new tools quickly and follow structured processes.
- Interest in long-term support for SharePoint Online governance, maintenance, and adoption post-migration.
- Track and submit time accurately in company time keeping system (Unanet).
