ServiceNow Agentic AI Business Process Consultant (IT/OT SecOps-Now Assist, VR, SIR, TI, SPC) Remote-U.S.

Templar Shield is expanding its Agentic AI and intelligent security-automation practice. We’re looking for a Business Process Consultant who understands the real-world heartbeat of SecOps—how SOC teams triage alerts, investigate incidents, close vulnerabilities, manage OT risks, and maintain compliance—and who can translate those operations into AI-enabled workflows on the ServiceNow platform.

This role sits at the intersection of ServiceNow, security operations, OT/ICS environments, and next-generation AI. It’s designed for someone who knows how security teams actually work and can help reimagine those workflows using Now Assist, AI Control Tower, and multi-agent orchestration patterns.

About Templar Shield

Templar Shield is a boutique consulting firm and ServiceNow Elite Partner specializing in Cybersecurity, OT Security, SecOps, Integrated Risk Management, Operational Technology Management (OTM/OTAM), and AI Governance for critical infrastructure, financial services, energy, telecom, and public-sector clients.

We are pioneering intelligent, agent-based automations on the ServiceNow platform—bridging IT and OT security operations using GenAI, autonomous evidence collection, intelligent triage, and AI-driven incident and vulnerability response.

Role Overview

The ServiceNow Agentic AI Business Process Consultant (SecOps) works directly with SOC analysts, OT security teams, vulnerability managers, incident responders, and threat-intelligence analysts to redesign their operations with agentic AI at the core.

You’ll gather requirements, document high-value AI use cases, map as-is and to-be workflows, and design intelligent, multi-agent processes for Security Incident Response (SIR), Vulnerability Response (VR), Security Posture Control, Threat Intelligence, and OT Security Operations.

This role partners with architects and developers to ensure ServiceNow automations are accurate, secure, responsible, and aligned to modern cyber frameworks.

     - AI-assisted incident summarization and recommended actions
     - Automated enrichment of alerts from TI, EDR, SIEM, OT monitoring tools
     - AI-generated vulnerability reports, exploit-context, and remediation guidance
     - Multi-agent triage patterns for false-positive reduction
     - Continuous posture evaluation using AI-driven correlation
  • Define prompts, guardrails, retrieval workflows, and evaluation logic for Now Assist.

ServiceNow SecOps Expertise

  • Translate security processes into functional designs for:
     - SIR (Security Incident Response)
     - VR (Vulnerability Response)
     - Threat Intelligence
     - Security Posture Control
     - OT Security Incident Response & Risk Workflows
  • Draft user stories, acceptance criteria, process playbooks, and functional specifications.

Client Advisory & Governance

  • Provide advisory on cyber frameworks including MITRE ATT&CK, NIST 800-53/82, CIS Controls, NERC CIP, TSA pipeline/aviation frameworks, ISO 27001/62443, and DOE/ICS best practices.
  • Ensure AI implementations include transparency, accuracy checks, incident-logging, and model-governance alignment.
  • Conduct UAT, demos, and training sessions for client teams adopting AI-driven SecOps.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 3–7 years in security operations, vulnerability management, incident response, OT security, or cyber risk roles.
  • Experience with ServiceNow SecOps (SIR/VR/TI/SPC) as a practitioner, owner, or implementer.
  • Ability to design process flows, RACI models, KPIs, and operating procedures for SOC/OT teams.
  • Familiarity with SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, vulnerability scanners, OT security tools, asset discovery platforms, and TI feeds.
  • Understanding of GenAI and LLM-driven automation use cases for cybersecurity.
  • Strong documentation & facilitation skills—workshops, requirements, user stories, test cases.
  • Ability to translate technical security concepts into clear business requirements.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Now Assist, Agentic AI, AI Control Tower, vector search, or LLM evaluation workflows.
