We’re looking for an experienced SEO Strategist (2–3 years minimum experience) to join our remote team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of data analytics and creative strategy development. If you’re passionate about crafting high-quality SEO strategies, working with talented teams, and helping clients achieve measurable results, we’d love to hear from you!
The ideal candidate will be interested in a leadership role when it comes to training other members of our client services team, advising project managers and strategists, and taking ownership over the SEO success of client projects.
They will be a trusted resource for both clients and Fire&Spark team members, for their marketing wisdom, problem-solving capabilities, and team-first attitude.
We are looking for someone full-time remote (9-5 pm ET, with some flexibility for the right person).
What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee SEO client projects to identify risks, challenges, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Collaborate with the Client Services Manager to resolve them.
  • Proactively develop, adapt, and refine SEO strategies to meet diverse client needs.
  • Coach and mentor junior SEO strategists, helping them execute effective strategies and improve client communication.
  • Serve as our team’s go-to resource for tricky questions related to SEO strategy or client management
  • Direct project managers and analysts in implementing your SEO strategies.
  • Work with analysts to create high-quality and actionable deliverables that clients will love
  • Stay abreast of the newest marketing trends and strategies, as well as the latest updates to Google’s ranking algorithms
  • Mine Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, and other SEO tools to identify high-level opportunities and new initiatives
  • Maintain strong client relationships by addressing client concerns regarding the strategy, execution, and results of our marketing campaigns

What We’re Looking For:
Your Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of SEO experience
  • Client management experience
  • At least a year of people management experience
  • Familiarity with client project management best practices
  • Experience in managing multiple tasks and priorities
  • Proficiency with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Moz, and others.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for detailed reports and complex analysis.
