You should be data-driven, hands-on, and results-oriented, with a knack for identifying organic growth opportunities and executing SEO campaigns that drive traffic, leads, and brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy & Planning

• Align SEO goals with marketing, sales, and content teams to ensure crossfunctional impact.
• Define KPIs and success metrics across platforms (blogs, landing pages, events, courses, etc.).
2. Keyword Research & Content SEO
• Conduct in-depth keyword research using tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Keyword Planner, etc.
• Work closely with the content team to guide blog, video, podcast, and product page content strategy.
• Optimize existing content, identify content gaps, and develop new content recommendations for SERP dominance.
• Implement schema markup and rich snippet strategies where needed.
3. On-Page SEO
• Perform site-wide audits and improve on-page elements: Title tags, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, and URL structure.
• Optimize page load speed, mobile responsiveness, and user experience.
• Ensure SEO best practices are followed in page structure, HTML tags, and image optimization.
4. Technical SEO
• Audit and optimize site architecture, crawlability, indexation, and XML sitemaps.
• Manage robots.txt and resolve crawl errors, redirects, broken links, and duplicate content issues.
• Liaise with developers to implement necessary technical fixes and improvements.
• Monitor Core Web Vitals and improve Lighthouse performance metrics.
5. Off-Page SEO & Link Building
• Devise a strong backlink acquisition strategy using white-hat methods.
• Build relationships with bloggers, journalists, and industry websites for guest posting and link opportunities.
• Monitor backlink profile using tools like Ahrefs or Majestic and disavow toxic links.

• Optimize for local packs and Google Business Profiles (formerly GMB).
• Manage NAP consistency across local listings, directories, and map services.
• Implement event-based SEO for location-targeted reach and engagement.

• Conduct competitor SEO benchmarking and gap analysis.
Requirements
• 3–6+ years of full-stack SEO experience (preferably across multiple domains or brands).
• Deep expertise in Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs/SEMrush, GTmetrix, and similar tools.
• Strong command of HTML, CSS basics, JavaScript SEO concepts, and CMS platforms like WordPress, Webflow, or custom systems.
• Proven results in improving keyword rankings, organic traffic, and lead conversions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — you go beyond dashboards to uncover growth opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical SEO into business decisions.
• Knowledge of voice search, YouTube SEO, event-based SEO, and app indexing is a plus.
