About the role:
We’re looking for a hands-on, customer-facing Sensor Implementation Specialist to lead the deployment of Cyvl’s hardware systems across a growing national footprint. From single-sensor pilots to multi-unit rollouts, you’ll own the onboarding experience—ensuring every customer is set up for success with speed, confidence, and precision. This role sits at the intersection of hardware, logistics, field operations, and customer success. You’ll coordinate across departments and serve as the front-line representative of Cyvl during deployments. You’ll also be encouraged to leverage emerging AI tools to improve training, streamline logistics, and scale onboarding systems as we grow. What you'll do
- Manage the deployment of sensor fleets, from one-off pilots to 10+ unit rollouts
- Travel regularly to assist customers with sensor setup, installation, and training
- Represent Cyvl in customer-facing onboarding engagements with professionalism and clarity
- Coordinate all aspects of sensor logistics (shipping, receiving, staging, tracking)
- Organize and maintain a clean, up-to-date inventory of sensors and support equipment
- Assist with hands-on assembly of new sensors (mechanical and electrical components)
- Write and maintain SOPs for sensor shipment, installation, and support procedures
- Troubleshoot installation issues and ensure sensor activation is completed successfully
- Identify opportunities to improve the onboarding and deployment process at scale
- Use AI tools to improve deployment tracking, training materials, and logistics planning
Qualifications
- Experience managing or supporting hardware deployments, especially in field or logistics-heavy environments ● Hands-on experience with mechanical or electrical assembly
- Comfortable working directly with customers in a training, support, or onboarding capacity
- Proven ability to manage logistics, inventory, and physical assets in a structured way
- Strong written and verbal communication skills ● Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly (including overnight trips
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in field service, technical operations, or implementation roles
- Background in hardware products, IoT systems, or sensor platforms
- Familiarity with SOP writing, inventory systems, or asset tracking tools
- Ability to lift, transport, and install sensor equipment (often up to 30 lbs)
- Track record of driving process improvement in high-growth environments
