What this job involves –

The Senior Workplace Ambassador serves as the face of the organization, delivering a world-class workplace and visitor experience. This role combines the responsibilities of a Reception Supervisor with broader workplace engagement duties. The Senior Ambassador ensures that front-of-house operations run smoothly, while also leading initiatives that enhance the employee experience, foster a welcoming culture, and support day-to-day workplace services.

This individual leads the reception team, manages visitor services, and partners with cross-functional teams (Facilities, HR, IT, Security, Events) to ensure seamless and engaging experiences for employees and guests.

Your day to day: Key Responsibilities

Reception & Visitor Experience Supervision

  • Supervise and mentor reception staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure a professional, warm, and polished welcome for all employees, guests, and clients.
  • Manage visitor registration, building access, and security compliance.
  • Oversee front desk operations, mail and courier services, and conference room readiness.
  • Maintain the look, feel, and functionality of reception and common areas to reflect company brand and culture.

Workplace Experience & Engagement

  • Working with the WPE Manager this role leads programs that enhance employee workplace experience (wellness events, social activities, recognition initiatives, cultural events).
  • Partner with HR and Facilities to foster a sense of community and belonging within the workplace.
  • Together with the WPE Manager act as a point of contact for employee inquiries about workplace services, amenities, and policies.
  • Collect feedback on workplace services and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Operational & Administrative Support

  • Implement and uphold service standards, policies, and best practices across front-of-house and workplace functions.
  • Collaborate with IT, Facilities, and Security to ensure operational excellence and problem resolution.
  • Manage reception-related budgets and supply orders (hospitality, office supplies, etc.).
  • Track, report, and present workplace service metrics and KPIs.

Leadership & Culture Champion

  • Serve as a role model of hospitality, professionalism, and inclusivity.
  • Provide coaching, support, and recognition to reception staff, fostering team engagement and growth.
  • Act as a workplace culture ambassador by reinforcing company values in all interactions.
  • Drive innovation in service delivery and continuously seek to elevate the employee and visitor experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in workplace experience, hospitality, facilities, or reception; at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional hospitality and employee engagement programs.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and workplace management tools (visitor management, room booking, help desk systems).

Estimated compensation for this position:

70,900.00 – 102,700.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
