From site selection to data center construction and operations, Stream develops wholesale colocation capacity and build-to-suit facilities for hyperscale and enterprise users in major markets across the United States. Additionally, Stream sources and develops low-risk land sites for optimum data center development and provides energy procurement services with a focus on reducing market risk and providing low-cost renewable energy options. 

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Senior Vice-President, Hyperscale is primarily responsible for growing SDC’s relationship with our key hyperscale customers and prospective customers.   Your targets and compensation are based on  transactions that you successfully complete as an individual contributor in addition to hyperscale transactions completed by other Stream team members that were supported by you.

This role is critical to Stream’s ability to meet our investor’s expectations and to provide landsite development, build-to-suit and land banking services for the industry’s most exacting customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Successfully expand hyperscale leasing with the targeted accounts you manage directly plus the hyperscale accounts managed by your peers
  • Provide timely updates on capacity, market trends, technical requirements, etc. to the larger SDC organization   
  • Help ensure all CRM information is accurate and ready for consumption by SDC’s leadership and our investors.
  • Help refine and deliver Stream’s programmatic/flexible leasing concept to key tenants.
  • Broaden Stream’s relationships with key clients and discover new opportunities via deepened customer value

 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Protect Stream’s hard-earned reputation for customer service and honesty by upholding our values at all times 
  • Help drive the growth of Stream’s hyperscale campuses, build-to-suit/build-to-spec and land banking and development practices
  • Drive topline revenue with our Hyperscale clients that meets our investor’s legal and return targets
  • Act as a key member of a team-based selling organization that leverages both ‘full-time’ leasing personnel (such as Solutions Architects) in addition to SME’s from applicable functions like development, construction, operations, compliance, energy, sustainability, etc. 
  • Provide budget input to broader finance and investor teams including forecasting of expansion and renewal opportunities
  • Act as an ambassador for Stream in the marketplace by being a trusted advisor to our clients
  • Use lessons learned from engagements to drive improvements in product and process
  • Leverage your client interaction (and Stream’s SME’s) to ensure our services meet the evolving operational, safety, sustainability and governance requirements of our clientele

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have deep experience leasing complex data center real estate services to the world’s leading hyperscale users
  • Must have superior ability to understand and manage the requirements contained within complex lease, development and service agreements
  • Experience managing hyperscale provider requirements, delivering build-to-suit leases projects and working with development, construction and operations teams on new sites/buildings
  • Must be capable of operating autonomously and preparing executive/investor friendly content for both periodic and decision-making situations
  • Must always be an effective ambassador of Stream’s culture and values
  • Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service
  • Ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint  

Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related reasons.
