The Senior UX Strategist will lead the consolidation of two websites, focusing on content organization, navigation systems, and information architecture, while collaborating with a designer and ensuring SEO optimization.
RSAC is the premier series of global events and year‑round learning for the cybersecurity community. RSAC is where the security industry converges to discuss current and future concerns and gain access to experts, unbiased content, and ideas that help individuals and companies advance their cybersecurity posture and build stronger, smarter teams.
Both in‑person and online, RSAC brings the cybersecurity industry together and empowers the collective “we” to stand against cyberthreats around the world. RSAC is the ultimate marketplace for the latest technologies and hands‑on educational opportunities, helping industry professionals discover how to make their organizations more secure while showcasing the most enterprising, influential, and thought‑provoking thinkers and leaders in cybersecurity today.
About the Role
We're looking for a Senior UX Strategist to lead the re-architecture and consolidation of two existing websites into a single, scalable platform. This is a contract engagement focused on strategy, structure, and user experience — not visual design (we have a creative designer in-house). The right person will bring a strong point of view on how to organize content, build intuitive navigation systems, and set up an information architecture that can grow with the business.

- Advise on Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) best practices — structured data, content clarity, and formatting that performs well in AI-generated search results
- Collaborate with our in-house creative designer to hand off wireframes and structural direction
- Document the IA and UX rationale so it can guide future site growth
- 10+ years of experience in UX strategy, information architecture, or a related discipline

- Experience with content migration planning and redirect mapping (301 strategy)
- Familiarity with CMS platforms and how IA decisions impact CMS setup
- Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals (URL structure, heading hierarchy, internal linking, content siloing)

- Experience working alongside or handing off to visual/creative designers
- Strong communicator who can articulate the "why" behind structural decisions
