What is the Senior UX Product Designer role?
We’re looking for a Senior UX Product Designer who’s fired up about making healthcare better—and faster. You’ll have a big hand in shaping not just our products, but the entire design culture from the ground up. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role where your work will directly improve people’s lives (like, right away).
You’ll be our go-to for clean, intuitive UX, a Figma whiz who can move fast, think lean, and handle complexity with ease. From sketching out ideas to shipping polished flows, you’ll collaborate with product, engineering, and clinical teams to build smart, human-centered experiences that actually help people.
If you love building, sweating the details, and want your work to mean something, we’d love to meet
What you’ll be doing:
- Design thoughtful, user-centered experiences across web and mobile for patients, clinicians, and internal teams
- Help shape products that solve real, meaningful problems—and guide others to do the same
- Mentor junior designers by unblocking work, encouraging deeper thinking, and pushing for more elegant, user-focused solutions
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and clinical teams to bring smart ideas to life
- Create rapid, low- and mid-fidelity prototypes to explore and validate concepts early (no code required!)
- Deliver clear design specs and just enough documentation to keep engineering moving without slowing things down
- Turn messy, complex workflows into “ahhh, that makes sense” moments with grace and clarity
- Support visual storytelling for sales decks and investor materials—bringing a cohesive, elevated look and feel
- Lead and participate in user research and usability testing to inform and validate your work
- Bring order to Figma—help organize files, establish patterns, and build a lean design system that evolves with the team.
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years of experience
- You bring a user-first mindset and love helping others level up—mentoring junior designers by unblocking them, guiding them toward elegant, thoughtful solutions, and encouraging deep thinking about the real user problem we’re solving
- A degree in design, HCI, or a related field is great—but we care way more about your portfolio, how you think, and the impact of your work.
- A portfolio that shows off clean, intuitive UX and a sharp eye for detail (we love to see your thinking, not just the final polish)
- Figma wizard-A love for systems—you enjoy creating lightweight design libraries that grow over time, not big bloated systems no one uses
- Keep the user problem front and center in every decision, balancing usability, feasibility, and business goals.
- A solid foundation in UX best practices—you design with clarity, empathy, and accessibility in mind from the start.
- You’re a strong collaborator—equally at home riffing with engineers or walking through product flows with PM’s and stakeholders..
- You’ve got a curious streak—you love diving into user behavior, asking “why,” and validating ideas to make sure we’re solving the right problem, not just the obvious one.
