As a Senior UX Designer, you will own the end-to-end UX and product design for our key digital customer journeys on a global scale, from discovery and problem framing through flows, prototypes, UI, validation, and handoff. You will turn e-commerce pages into genuine product education for a specialised niche, helping customers understand pergolas and awnings, products many people are still unfamiliar with, and translating that clarity into better usability and conversion. Working closely with Product, Performance Marketing, and commercial teams, you will shape UX standards and contribute to a lightweight design system that keeps our experience consistent as it grows.

PERGOLUX designs and sells Scandinavian-inspired outdoor living products, from pergolas to garden furniture, directly to consumers. With around 300 employees, 9-figure revenue, and operations across 8 markets, we are a company that has grown steadily and continues to build its digital experience with care and precision.

What You'll Do

  • Own end-to-end UX and UI across key e-commerce journeys, with a strong mobile-first focus.

  • Lead the redesign of our website towards an attractive, modern, and sharp design that matches our premium positioning in the outdoor living niche.

  • Turn product pages into clear educational experiences that answer the questions customers have about pergolas and awnings, reducing friction and communicating product value.

  • Use research, analytics, and usability testing to validate design decisions and continuously improve usability and conversion.

  • Build and maintain a lightweight design system and reusable components that create a consistent, affordable premium experience.

  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Content, and Marketing to align user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

What You'll Bring

  • Several years of experience in UX and product design, ideally within e-commerce or consumer-facing digital products.

  • A strong portfolio showing end-to-end ownership, from problem framing to polished UI and validated outcomes.

  • Solid visual craft and the ability to express a brand through clean, mobile-first design.

  • Hands-on experience with research, usability testing, and analytics to inform and defend design decisions.

  • Experience building or maintaining design systems and reusable components (nice to have).

💼 Compensation — €70.000 – €85.000 gross per year · Company pension plan · Capped overtime, fully paid, no endless unpaid crunch

🚀 Growth and Career Development — You will take real ownership of key customer journeys from the start, with direct impact on business outcomes and a fast-track path to grow into senior leadership roles as PERGOLUX scales.

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
