Senior UX Design Operations Specialist

The Role
Fidelity Investments is seeking a Senior UX Design Operations Specialist who thrives on solving complex problems and driving operational excellence. This role is ideal for a self-starter who can dig into data, identify inefficiencies, and create scalable solutions that streamline workflows and deliver actionable business value. You’ll work across teams to improve clarity, consistency, and velocity in our UX practice, enabling designers to focus on what they do best—creating exceptional user experiences

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

Experience

  • 4–6+ years of experience in UX Design Operations, Program Management, or a related field
  • Proven track record of implementing operational frameworks and tools across large organizations
  • Experience working in agile environments and supporting design teams at scale
  • Expertise in Jira and Jira Align
  • Familiarity with user-centered design and research practices is a plus

  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset and ability to work independently
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to dig into complex data to uncover insights and drive decisions
  • Skilled problem solver who can identify friction points and develop effective solutions

What You’ll Do

  • Drive operational rigor across the UX organization
  • Develop and maintain programs that provide clarity on team responsibilities and workstreams
  • Create and enforce consistent tracking mechanisms across business units
  • Identify and remove barriers to design velocity
  • Analyze data to uncover inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
  • Design and implement new processes and procedures that streamline operations and drive business value
  • Partner with leadership to address friction points and improve team workflows
  • Serve as a liaison to UXRADS and UXC, ensuring alignment and collaboration
  • Contribute to the culture and maturity of the UX Design Operations practice
