Working closely with our colleagues at Bad Robot Productions, our projects unite our extensive network of games, TV, and film industry talent to create original IPs, expansive worlds and tell new stories across all media platforms which are as fun to watch as they are to play.

Bad Robot Games is looking for a Senior UI Engineer that is an expert in creating streamlined user experiences that are sleek, polished and unobtrusive.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Surface gameplay concepts through the HUD and in-game UI
  • Implement store, progression, settings, loading and matchmaking screens
  • Own all polish aspects of UI including animation, audio and force feedback
  • Iterate with design and art to find the proper visual aesthetic for our menus
  • Prototype, polish and maintain any in-world interfaces

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience working with C++
  • 3+ years of Unreal experience
  • Versed in UMG, Slate, audio and force feedback
  • All of our roles require up to 10% air travel. Examples include Studio/Team Offsites, Team/Studio Events, etc.

  • Keen eye for UX polish
  • Worked on UI in a UE4+ product.
  • Performance optimization experience

Annual Salary Range: $137,500 - $142,500

Our ranges are based on California market rate regardless of work location in the US.
