Job Description

A bit about this role:

As a senior member of Devoted Health’s treasury and cash management function, the Senior Treasury Manager will partner with the Treasury Director to lead treasury and cash management activities across our operating, regulated, and clinical entities — and to build the treasury infrastructure required to support potential expansion into international markets and into commercial lines of business.

Primary responsibilities include international and cross-border banking, the payment operations that support our provider/practice and commercial businesses, debt management and covenant compliance, cash and liquidity management, and supporting the management of internal stakeholder and third-party banking relationships.

This role is currently scoped as an individual contributor, with the potential for future management. We are looking for someone who can operate hands-on today and step into leading and developing a team as the function scales.

We expect this role to be integral to ensuring the integrity, accuracy, consistency, and transparency of cash and treasury reporting across our overall finance function.

Your Responsibilities and Impact will include:

  • Build treasury infrastructure for international and commercial expansion — in-country account structures,  multi-currency cash management, and the banking and payments rails supporting new regulated, international, and commercial entities.

  • Manage the debt portfolio and covenant compliance calendar — revolver, letters of credit, and surety bonds; prepare and certify covenant calculations and all recurring lender reporting; partner with Legal and Accounting on credit agreement interpretation and maintain a controlled record of debt documentation

  • Drive daily cash positioning, liquidity, and forecasting across all entities — concentration and funding adequacy, short- and long-term forecasts with variance analysis and liquidity impact, serving as escalation point for daily cash operations

  • Manage capital flows and short-term investments — intercompany funding, capital contributions, and dividend planning with Accounting, Tax, and Legal; invest excess cash within board- and regulator-approved policy guidelines

  • Lead treasury controls, audit, and policy administration — ICFR activities across the cash management function including annual certification, quarterly investment concentration risk monitoring against health insurance regulations, audited financial statement footnotes and disclosures, and treasury policy administration

  • Own the Treasury Management System (Kyriba) —  implementation of new modules to support operations and manage adherence to IT and general controls

  • Serve as a banking and payments SME while developing the team and external relationships — lead cross-functional treasury projects; coach and develop staff with direct management as the function scales; manage banking partners, payment processors, custodians, and technology vendors including pricing negotiation, service reviews, and bank fee analysis; partner across Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Legal, Compliance, Claims, and the clinical and provider organizations

Required skills and experience:

  • Experience and credentials: 10+ years of progressive cash management and treasury operations experience, preferably in a large corporate treasury environment; Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required, Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) accreditation required; prior team lead or people management experience

  • International treasury experience. Multi-currency cash management, cross-border funding, FX exposure management, and standing up in-country bank account structures

  • Industry and systems: experience supporting commercial lines of business, healthcare or insurance background with Medicare Advantage and statutory/regulated entity familiarity; demonstrated experience with Treasury Management Systems (Kyriba) and BAI2 / ISO 20022 file formats required, NetSuite or comparable general ledger software, and general knowledge of AI tools to automate treasury processes required.

  • Hands-on experience with debt compliance and management covering credit agreements, covenant and borrowing reporting, and lender relationship management; ACH and NACHA rules experience required

  • Communication and tools: excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to senior leadership, auditors, regulators, and external partners; advanced spreadsheet proficiency and strong general computer skills required

Desired skills and experience:

  • Proven delivery in changing, complex, high-growth environments, with sound judgment in ambiguous situations — particularly when standing up processes in new markets and new lines of business. Able to independently manage multiple demands and competing priorities, meeting deadlines on a continuous basis.

  • Results oriented with an aptitude for analytical solutions — identifies the actions needed to complete tasks and obtain results, and contributes from day one.  Comfort as a hands-on individual contributor today, with the capability and appetite to lead and develop a team as the function scales.

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation and organizational skills; adheres to and improves policies and procedures

  • High ethical standards at all times, including maintaining the confidentiality of financial and other sensitive information consistent with moral, professional, and regulatory requirements

  • Investment knowledge preferred

  • MBA preferred.
