Job Summary

The Senior Training Specialist will support the coordination and development of on-going biopharma commercial initiatives including the oversite of field tools and processes. This position will assist with defining, developing, and delivering training curriculum and materials to support a variety of learning formats including e-Learning, distance learning, and in-person instruction. This position will be responsible for assessing, tracking, and communicating with key stakeholders to help develop/design the execution of effective learning programs to ensure knowledge transfer skills building.
This is a hybrid position, and the selected candidate will be required to work onsite in the Lake Zurich, Illinois office 3 days a week.
Salary Range: $85,000 – $100,000 per year
Position is eligible to participate in a bonus plan with a target of 6% of the base salary. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Responsibilities

  • Works with the Learning Management System (LMS) administration team to add, modify, and review courses and curricula for all Biopharma team members.
  • Conducts learning needs assessments and identifies performance needs/gaps.
  • Partners with the Commercial leadership team on the development of training programs and plans.
  • Implements training for various curricula in the classroom, team meetings or virtually.
  • Adjust and develop training curriculum content and modules to effectively engage learners on all levels and across commercial functions.
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders and SME to define desired performance outcomes; provide feedback and coaching on challenges related to learning programs and processes.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of instructional design by creating content for training initiatives and knowledge checks.
  • Learns and implements new systems or cutting-edge training methods to effectively facilitate training sessions.
  • Evaluates effectiveness of curricula, meets regularly with management teams to review, and advise.
  • Manage department communications for new hire onboarding classes including meeting set up, announcements, and SharePoint oversite for Training and Development.
  • Triage LMS issues and partner with IT to provide resolution to customers and members of the Training Department.
  • Supports Fleet administration in collaboration with Fresenius Kabi Fleet team, ensures Biopharma Fleet compliance.
  • Support commercial operations and analytics on ad hoc projects as needed.

Requirements

  • College degree with minimum 5+ years of Quality, Project, or Training experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry required.
  • Demonstrated ability to train, provide feedback and re-train employees. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
  • Must be able to design, develop, implement, and lead dynamic presentations that are directed and focused on the departments educational, cultural, and business needs. 
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and projects. 
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Superior computer expertise, specifically in Microsoft office Suite (High competency level in PowerPoint) and database management.
  • Ability to travel to regional and national meetings.
