Position:  Senior Trade Marketing Manager, Curlsmith 

Department: Marketing – Beauty & Wellness 

Work Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Remote Option: Fully remote for candidates based in New York, New Jersey, Colorado, or California

Hybrid Schedule: At Helen of Troy, we embrace a flexible hybrid work model designed to support collaboration and productivity. For roles eligible for hybrid work, our standard schedule includes in-office collaboration from Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. What you will be doing: 

Helen of Troy is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sr. Trade Marketing Manager to play a key part in shaping how Curlsmith connects with consumers and retail partners. This role is responsible for strategic planning and execution leading omni-marketing strategies across key retail partners. 

You’ll build and maintain relationships with key accounts and retailer partners, while also bridging the gap between brand marketing and the sales team to align on evergreen and promotional campaigns, product launches, calendar management, budgets, and activations.  

  • Retail Strategy: Lead Curlsmith’s omnichannel retail strategy, tailoring national campaigns at retailer accounts. Maximize brand visibility and sales for every launch, campaign, visual merchandising display and in-store activation.  
  • Key Account Management: Partner with major retailer accounts to create customized marketing programs, promotions, and secure premium placement opportunities.   
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Sales, Brand Marketing, Field, Education and Product Marketing to drive account growth. 
  • Marketing Calendar: Own and oversee the retail marketing calendar, ensuring alignment across launches, campaigns, promotions and key seasonal priorities. 
  • Merchandising: Partner with the Sales Team and cross-functional partners to optimize POS displays, visual merchandising strategy, and performance. 
  • Events: Plan and execute events, overseeing event marketing and communications, in collaboration with the Education and Events team. Develop events budget and track & report on KPIS.  
  • Budget: Oversee the retailer budget for key accounts, co-op, performance reporting, and ROI optimization. Monitor performance metrics and provide analytical reporting.   
  • Sampling: Own retail sampling strategy and reporting for key accounts, track consumption and ROI. 
  • Market Trends: Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform strategy and identify opportunities.  

 

Skills needed to be successful in this role: 

  • Highly collaborative, and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment 
  • Detail oriented, strong organizational and time managementskills 
  • Exceptional understanding of the beauty industry, including marketing programs, merchandising systems, campaign opportunities, and co-op 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonalabilities 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business   
  • 5+ years of trade, retail, or beauty marketing experience 
  • Sephora and/or Ulta experience required 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)  
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis  

The standard base pay range for this role is $100,000- $130,000 annually. This base pay range is specific and may not be applicable to other locations. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skill level, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
