Cambridge Mobile Telematics (CMT) is the world’s largest telematics service provider. Its mission is to make the world’s roads and drivers safer. The company’s AI-driven platform, DriveWell Fusion®, gathers sensor data from millions of IoT devices — including smartphones, proprietary Tags, connected vehicles, dashcams, and third-party devices — and fuses them with contextual data to create a unified view of vehicle and driver behavior. Auto insurers, automakers, commercial mobility companies, and the public sector use insights from CMT’s platform to power risk assessment, safety, claims, and driver improvement programs. Headquartered in Cambridge, MA, with offices in Budapest, Chennai, Seattle, Tokyo, and Zagreb, CMT measures and protects tens of millions of drivers across the world every day.

As a Senior Total Rewards Analyst, you’ll serve as the project manager for benefits administration at CMT—leading the planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of our benefits programs. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is looking to grow their skills across compensation, payroll, global HR operations, and system implementations. The ideal candidate is a builder—someone who finds energy in simplifying and automating processes, creating tools and resources, and taking ownership of operational excellence. You enjoy building strong relationships across the business, but also value deep, focused work on analysis, research, and long-term planning.

CMT is looking for a collaborative, customer-committed, and creative Senior Total Rewards Analyst who wants to join us in making roads safer by making drivers better!

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end project management of CMT’s benefits programs—including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, wellness, retirement, and leave of absence
    • Maintain accurate and compliant benefits data across HRIS, payroll, and vendor platforms; lead regular audits to ensure integrity and resolve issues proactively
    • Serve as the first point of contact for complex employee benefits questions and escalations, partnering with vendors to ensure timely, clear resolution
    • Develop and improve employee-facing documentation, FAQs, and benefit education materials
    • Own compliance reporting (ACA, 5500s, HIPAA, COBRA) and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
    • Partner with the Director of Total Rewards on the implementation of a new benefits broker, supporting due diligence, onboarding, and long-term program alignment
    • Participate in the implementation of a new HRIS system, helping configure and validate benefits functionality and workflow
    • Analyze trends in program usage and costs, providing insights and recommendations for improvements aligned with CMT’s total rewards philosophy
    • You will lead initiatives that rethink how benefits are designed, delivered, and communicated—with a strong focus on automation, user experience, and long-term scalability
    • Support compensation activities such as benchmarking, salary survey submissions, and pay analysis
    • Assist in preparing and analyzing data for the annual compensation cycle, including promotions and merit processes
    • Partner with Payroll to ensure accuracy of benefits deductions, LOA processing, and tax/reporting requirements
    • Build recurring dashboards and ad hoc reports related to compensation, benefits, and workforce trends
    • Partner with the People team and external vendors to support global benefits programs, including EOR (Employer of Record) support
    • Contribute to global benchmarking and benefit harmonization efforts across multiple countries
    • Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements across total rewards and HR operations
    • Build documentation and process maps for repeatable tasks and support manager enablement materials during program rollouts
    • Complete any additional tasks as they arise

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience and/or certification in a related field
4+ years of relevant professional experience in HR
    • 3+ years with a strong focus on benefits administration
    • Proven experience leading at least two full-cycle open enrollment projects
    • Strong understanding of U.S. benefits compliance (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA) and experience conducting HR/payroll/benefits data audits
    • Excellent project management and communication skills—able to lead multi-stakeholder efforts and keep programs on track
    • Experience working in or supporting a tech company or high-growth global organization preferred
    • Experience or exposure to global benefits, EOR vendor relationships, compensation, and payroll a plus
    • Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Namely, UKG, Workday); experience supporting or participating in an HRIS implementation is a strong plus
    • Advanced Excel/data skills; able to build reports and identify trends for leadership presentations
    • Self-starter who enjoys process improvement, systems thinking, and driving clarity from ambiguity

Nice to Haves:

  • Preferred but not required: CEBS, CCP, SHRM-CP/PHR or related certifications

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Fair and competitive salary based on skills and experience, and annual performance bonus
Equity may be awarded in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)
Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance, matching 401k, short-term & long-term disability and parental leave
Unlimited Paid Time Off including vacation, sick days & public holidays
Flexible scheduling and work from home policy depending on role and responsibilities

Additional Perks:

  • Feel great working to improve road safety around the world!
Join one of our many employee resource groups including Black, AAPI, LGBTQIA+, Women, Book Club and Health & Wellness
Extensive wellness, education and employee assistance programs
CMT will do all that is possible to support our employees and create a positive and inclusive work environment for all!
