Help build the next major growth business at AssuranceAmerica. AssuranceAmerica has ambitious plans to rapidly expand Roadside Assistance and build a broader Membership business. This role is pivotal to turning those plans into results by owning growth in the West Region, strengthening independent agent relationships, and helping launch new markets and capabilities. As the business grows in size and complexity, this position offers meaningful opportunity for expanded scope, leadership, and career growth.

The successful candidate will have direct impact on market expansion, sales performance, agent engagement, channel coordination, and the evolution of the Membership offering. As Roadside Assistance and Membership expand, the role may grow into broader regional, channel, partnership, specialization, or team leadership responsibilities based on business needs and individual performance.

Each day at AssuranceAmerica is different, but as a Sr. Territory Manager for Membership Growth will:

  • Own and drive growth of Roadside Assistance and, as it develops, Membership across the West Region, with a primary focus on Texas and Arizona.
  • Own sales of Roadside Assistance and Membership through independent agents, while partnering with the business owners for Contact Center/retail, direct/web, and national accounts to support coordinated growth across channels.
  • Create, build, and nurture trusted relationships with independent agents and channel partners, working closely with the Personal Auto sales team to increase awareness, adoption, and sustained production.
  • Drive new-state launches by creating excitement, educating and motivating agents, coordinating field readiness, addressing barriers, and building early sales momentum.
  • Build and execute territory and partner-development plans, agent incentives, training, presentations, campaigns, and practical sales playbooks that translate strategy into measurable growth.
  • Become the field expert on Roadside Assistance, gather agent and customer insights, monitor the market, and help shape future Membership benefits, positioning, and go-to-market plans.
  • Represent AssuranceAmerica at agent meetings, expos, industry conferences, and partner events, and cultivate future affinity and distribution partnerships.
  • Maintain a strong in-market presence through frequent travel across Texas and Arizona, with additional travel across the West Region as needed.

About YOU

Requirements

  • 10 years of relevant experience in territory sales, channel sales, relationship management, business development, strategic partnerships, or a comparable customer-facing growth role; demonstrated success in a company field sales role may substitute. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a field that yields knowledge business, and demonstrates the ability to learn and apply complex material, complete long-term goals, and apply analytical thinking in a professional environment.
  • A demonstrated record of earning trust, creating mutual value, influencing without direct authority, and nurturing productive long-term partner relationships.
  • Experience developing a territory or partner portfolio and converting strategy, follow-through, and market insight into measurable growth.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, including comfort representing the business at conferences and large partner meetings.
  • Commercial judgment, curiosity, and disciplined use of CRM, pipeline, sales, and performance data.
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently across Texas and Arizona, with additional West Region and event travel as needed.
  • Valid driver's license with MVR that meets company-car policy requirements.

Preferred

  • Professional working proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred, but not required, particularly for communicating with agents, customers, and business partners.
  • Experience in roadside assistance, membership programs, automotive services, affinity products, insurance distribution, partner activation, or an emerging growth business.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel in assigned territory weekly and to other locations as needed for events and meetings.
  • Prolonged periods sitting and driving or at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to navigate the physical premises of various organizations.
