We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Writer to create, edit, and maintain high-quality documentation for our products and services. The ideal candidate will have experience translating complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for diverse audiences, including developers, engineers, and end users. This role requires strong writing, research, and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, write, and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, FAQs, online help, white papers, and training materials.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and support teams to understand technical concepts and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Organize and structure content for clarity, accessibility, and usability.
  • Edit and review documentation to ensure consistency, readability, and adherence to company standards.
  • Work with UX designers and developers to improve the documentation experience for users.
  • Conduct interviews, research, and hands-on testing to gather information about products and technologies.
  • Maintain and update documentation to reflect product changes and improvements.
  • Lead or contribute to process improvements and best practices in technical writing.
  • Mentor junior writers and provide editorial feedback to enhance the quality of documentation.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a technical writer, preferably in the software, IT, or engineering industries.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Writing Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Technical Knowledge: Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts (e.g., APIs, SDKs, cloud computing, networking, DevOps, AI/ML).
  • Tools Proficiency: Experience with documentation tools such as MadCap Flare, RoboHelp, Confluence, Markdown, GitHub, XML, DITA, and CMS platforms.
  • Collaboration: Strong ability to work cross-functionally with developers, engineers, designers, and product teams.
  • Agile Environment: Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to research, troubleshoot, and present technical information in an easy-to-understand format.
