About the role

As a key member of Onebrief’s recruiting team, you will play a critical role in finding, engaging, and hiring top-tier engineering talent. You will partner with hiring managers, interviewers, and leadership to shape our hiring strategy, create an exceptional candidate experience, and help scale our company during a period of rapid growth.

About You

You have a deep understanding of the engineering and security landscape, a passion for sourcing hard-to-find talent, and the ability to navigate the unique challenges associated with recruiting in a quickly growing startup. You’ve formed strong relationships with hiring managers and leadership, and they see you as a trusted thought partner when building their teams. Within the Talent Acquisition team, you’re highly collaborative, provide mentorship and coaching to newer recruiters, and have delivered impactful projects and initiatives to improve processes. You thrive in an environment with high trust and autonomy, have a strong sense of ownership, and are an excellent communicator.

What you'll do
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for key infrastructure, security, and engineering roles, including but not limited to software engineers, AI/ML engineers, site reliability engineers, infrastructure engineers, and other technical positions

  • Collaborate with hiring managers and other members of the Talent Acquisition team to shape recruiting strategies and guide process improvements

  • Develop a deep understanding of the business’ talent requirements, partnering with interviewers and hiring managers to define interview processes and candidate evaluation techniques

  • Proactively source and engage candidates through a variety of sourcing techniques

  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from initial contact through offer acceptance, ensuring timely communication, feedback, and positive engagement

  • Use our ATS (Ashby) to track and analyze recruiting metrics to measure effectiveness, taking a data-driven approach to process improvement

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends and technologies within the broader tech ecosystem to stay ahead of market shifts

  • Build and nurture relationships with both passive and active candidates to create a pipeline for future hiring needs

  • 8+ years experience of full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, with a track record of closing top-tier talent in a competitive environment

  • Excellent recruiting and sourcing fundamentals with demonstrated success driving results and achieving hiring goals

  • Strong business acumen and demonstrated success supporting a range of software engineering and other technical teams

  • Analytical skills and a process-driven mindset to continuously improve recruiting strategies and sourcing outcomes

  • Ability to set proper expectations with stakeholders and keep them informed

Compensation Range: $160K - $180K
