We are seeking a Contract Senior Technical Recruiter to join our dynamic Talent team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience sourcing and hiring high-caliber technical talent across various disciplines, such as software engineering, infrastructure, and cybersecurity. This role is pivotal for managing senior-level searches, engaging with Engineering leaders, and building effective partnerships across the Tech and People organizations. You will play a critical role in shaping our team by identifying and engaging talent that contributes to the diversity and success of our teams at Ro and by facilitating a seamless hiring process.
This will be a 6-month contract with the potential to extend.
What You'll Do:
- Full-Cycle Recruitment | Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for technical roles, from job requisition to offer acceptance, with a primary focus on Senior and Staff+ roles across Engineering.
- Talent Sourcing | Build deeply targeted sourcing strategies and market maps to identify and engage high caliber, often passive technical talent. Strong command of LinkedIn Recruiter, AI talent platforms, and Boolean search techniques.
- Stakeholder Management & Team Collaboration | Partner closely with our Engineering leadership and hiring managers to deeply understand the requirements of each role and how it fits into the organization. Work collaboratively with colleagues across the People and Talent teams.
- Process Optimization | Design and own structured, competency-based interview practices and refine processes to optimize candidate experience and recruiting impact.
- Data-Driven Insights | Analyze recruiting metrics, including pipeline and sourcing conversion rates, to identify roadblocks and develop strategic solutions. Use these insights to engage stakeholders and drive improvements in the hiring process.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- Experience | 6+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience at a high-growth technology company or startup. At least 3 years experience hiring Senior and Staff level Software Engineers. A track record of building pipelines for highly specialized and hard-to-fill engineering roles. Experience hiring for Infrastructure or Cybersecurity roles is a plus.
- Strong Stakeholder Management | Ability to influence at various levels in an organization, anchoring on data-driven decision-making. Proven ability to effectively partner with, advise, and coach hiring managers, interviewers, and other key stakeholders.
- Sourcing Expertise | Expert-level sourcing capabilities using creative, multi-platform strategies.
- Communication Skills | Strong verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
- ATS | Hands on experience with Lever, Greenhouse, or similar ATS.
Ro recognizes the power of in-person collaboration, while supporting the flexibility to work anywhere in the United States. For our Ro’ers in the tri-state (NY) area, you will join us at HQ on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For those outside of the tri-state area, you will be able to join in-person collaborations throughout the year (i.e., during team on-sites).
