Base Salary Range

We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager at our facility in Boston, Massachusetts, to own the implementation, enhancement, and support for transactional notifications across all Chewy business lines.
What You'll Do:
- Responsible for keeping customers informed of critical transactional events like order and delivery confirmation and status updates, reminders about recurring order processing, and prescription and appointment notifications for Pet Health service offerings like Chewy Vet Care and Connect With A Vet.
- Coordinate across multiple stakeholders to influence requirements definition and define project milestones in alignment with business needs.
- Define priorities for the development team against work back plans tied to desired launch dates to ensure on time delivery of critical enterprise priorities.
- Inspect development team's delivery metrics, ever changing business goals and priorities, and customer impact and experience data to ensure the team is delivering according to the constantly growing needs of the business spanning B2C, B2B and Clinic programs and catering to all Chewy customers.
- Partner with engineering leadership to review system design, scalability and monitoring to launch highly available and resilient functionalities for Chewy customers.
- Own stakeholder and executive leadership communication to report on project progress identifying risks, launches, and scope changes as well as paths to green for critical issues that are off track.
- Mentor and coach engineering team to improve agile practice and establish consistent and well understood velocity and adequate backlog depth.
- Participate in production support efforts with a focus on organizing and facilitating business continuity communications.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related field and 7 years of experience.
- Will also accept Master's degree and 5 years of experience.
- Experience must include 5 years with: technical program/product management;
- Agile (Scrum Master/Product Owner);
- Business requirements analysis, review, and design;
- Mobile/web technologies and frameworks such as React, Angular and TypeScript;
- Backend technologies such as Java;
- CI/CD processes and release management;
- AWS technologies including CloudWatch, EC2, SES, SNS.
- Experience must also include: eCommerce platforms for core shopping and healthcare.
- The position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.
