The Role:

We are hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive the development and implementation of programs, products, and services within our R&D department. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing strategic initiatives with complex dependencies, risk management, stakeholder management, and building technical roadmaps.
You will drive the team toward our mission of building durable and reliable data informed processes within DailyPay. Organising and managing continuous improvement and automation initiatives and play a significant role in developing, driving and managing scalable, data-driven processes.

How You Will Make an Impact:
  • Lead architecture, design, implementation and deployment of large-scale critical and complex financial applications, owning all aspects of solutions end-to-end, through full stack software development.

  • Partner closely with engineering leads, product managers, designers, and other teams to define program scope, requirements, and deliverables.

  • Establish clear and consistent communication channels. Provide regular updates on program status, progress, and blockers to all stakeholders, including senior leadership.

  • Proactively identify and manage cross-team dependencies, ensuring seamless integration and coordination.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the program lifecycle. Develop contingency plans and escalate issues as appropriate.

  • Continuously evaluate and improve program & portfolio management processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Mentor junior program managers or contribute to the development of best practices within the program management function.

What You Bring to The Team:
  • 8+ years of experience in technical program management, project management, or a similar role within a software development environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies (Kanban), and modern software architectures (e.g., microservices, cloud-native applications).

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges, a results-oriented mindset, and a commitment to delivering value to customers.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams without direct authority.

  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA,), collaboration platforms (e.g., Confluence), and version control systems (e.g., Git).

  • Certifications in program management and/or service management (e.g., PMP, PgMP, CSM, SAFe, ITIL).
