TetraScience is the Scientific Data and AI Cloud company. We are catalyzing the Scientific AI revolution by designing and industrializing AI-native scientific data sets, which we bring to life in a growing suite of next gen lab data management solutions, scientific use cases, and AI-enabled outcomes.

TetraScience is the category leader in this vital new market, generating more revenue than all other companies in the aggregate. In the last year alone, the world’s dominant players in compute, cloud, data, and AI infrastructure have converged on TetraScience as the de facto standard, entering into co-innovation and go-to-market partnerships:

In connection with your candidacy, you will be asked to carefully review the Tetra Way letter, authored directly by Patrick Grady, our co-founder and CEO. This letter is designed to assist you in better understanding whether TetraScience is the right fit for you from a values and ethos perspective.

It is impossible to overstate the importance of this document and you are encouraged to take it literally and reflect on whether you are aligned with our unique approach to company and team building. If you join us, you will be expected to embody its contents each day.

Who You Are

TetraScience is hiring an elite technical project manager for a single key account in Boston, MA. The Technical Project Manager role drives urgency within TetraScience and the customer; every day matters as you drive this program team within an industry-first partnership.

As we have rapidly evolved up the technical scientific stack towards AI we require an uncompromising and results-driven project leader to help us deliver scientific and operational value within the constraints of the contract.

You are a customer centric and see-around-the-corner individual with a passion for navigating customer intricacies while maintaining delivery timelines.

You will need to fundamentally embody the principles of extreme ownership and have a demonstrated history of delivering challenging or complex implementations with several stakeholders.

For the avoidance of doubt, we remain in the category creation and evangelism phase and thus there is no industry playbook for this implementation or partnership. It will require extreme self-discipline and determination as we forge a partnership that will fundamentally and forever change the life sciences industry.

Tetra Way: Program Manager - Way of Working

This role requires radical transparency - you'll share all project data openly with customers and internal teams, including when things aren't going well. You must be fearless in running toward friction with solutioning mindset; customer resistance, technical blockers, use case scope changes, product enhancements, resource constraints.

This role Is NOT for you if:

  • You prefer well-defined, repeatable processes over pioneering new approaches
  • You avoid difficult conversations or sugar-coat bad news
  • You need extensive management oversight to drive results
  • You're uncomfortable with rapid iteration and changing priorities

What You Will Do

The TetraScience Senior Technical Project Manager will report to the Head of Engagement, Strategic Initiatives and will be responsible for the thoughtful management of an industry-defining implementation for a single customer. This entails deep and collaborative oversight as well as collective urgency to ensure TetraScience meets or exceeds customer’s operational and scientific value delivery in an Agile framework leveraging kanban and Scrum-lite methodology as applicable.

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery for a groundbreaking scientific data transformation involving 10+ workstreams across R&D, pharmaceutical sciences, manufacturing, and quality systems
  • Drive daily standup with customer stakeholders as applicable, ensuring full transparency on progress, blockers, and potential timeline impacts or adjustments
  • Orchestrate cross-functional teams (TetraScience Sciborgs, Engineering, Customer Engagement, Product) to deliver integrated scientific use cases
  • Manage complex technical dependencies including cloud infrastructure, product development, data engineering pipelines, and AI model deployment
Requirements
  • 10+ years of Project Management experience in a Professional Services setting, implementing complex technical solutions with 5 - 10+ concurrent workstreams
  • Experience delivering projects or programs within the biopharma industry to an external customer
  • Measurable past performance of efficiently managing the delivery and support of multiple simultaneous workstreams across different teams
  • Proven project/program leadership experience in an Agile (with Kanban and Scrum) customer-facing deployment environment
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical information in non-technical language to drive progress.
  • Demonstrated collaborative communication and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority
  • This is an on-site position; minimum expected 4-to-5 days per week onsite in Cambridge, MA

Ideal If You Have

  • Experience with scientific data workflows (LIMS, ELN, chromatography data systems, or lab automation) and an understanding of regulated environments, and familiarity with scientific instrument ecosystems and data integration challenges.
  • Familiarities with key aspects of AI/ML solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry, Business, or related field; or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge or understanding of GxP compliance-related activities such as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) is ideal.
  • Ability to distill and present complex information to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated capability to effectively engage in VP-Level conversations in a customer-facing role
  • 5+ years of Public Cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure) or Enterprise software experience

Join Us If:

You're energized by the prospect of defining how the world's largest pharmaceutical companies will operate in the AI era. This is more than just program management; it is industrial transformation with the potential to accelerate life-saving drug development for billions of people.
