About the Opportunity 

We are looking to hire a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead large cross-team initiatives on our Tech (Product & Engineering) team. 

Main Responsibilities: What you’ll do

  • Lead and truly own multiple complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with cross-functional teams across the company.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and issues that may impact program delivery.
  • Coordinate all players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
  • Establish and maintain program management best practices and standards. Make things better as you’re doing it so that next time we won’t need to reinvent the wheel.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across teams, ensuring alignment on program goals and priorities.
  • Drive requirements and documentation efforts across teams, ensuring that essential information is always captured.
  • Identify and track success metrics.
  • Drive agile methodology adoption across the Tech organization.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience: What you need

  • 8+ years of experience leading large cross-team initiatives
  • A strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and related technologies.
  • The ability to understand and discuss technical concepts with engineering teams.
  • Proven experience building new processes and rolling them out to teams and departments.
  • Comfort working with stakeholders of all levels.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills and Experience: Nice-to-haves

  • Industry experience – working with device manufacturers (thermostat, battery, electric vehicle, ev chargers, heat pumps, solar panels) and/or utility companies.

The salary range of this opportunity is listed below and is determined within a range based on factors including qualifications, location and experience.  This allows opportunity for growth and development within the role.  The salary offered is part of a total compensation package.

$130,000$145,000 USD
