Lead the messaging and communication strategy for product marketing at Unstructured, collaborating with various teams to drive product adoption and market positioning.

We are looking for a Technical Product Marketing Manager to own messaging and comms strategy for Unstructured. You’ll work in lockstep with Product Managers, Engineering, Marketing and Sales to bring product innovations to life, craft compelling product and business stories, and drive adoption across a technically sophisticated audience.
The ideal candidate is deeply technical, understands developer workflows and enterprise infrastructure, and thrives at the intersection of storytelling and software.
Key Responsibilities
Product Marketing Strategy and Positioning
Own and continuously evolve the core messaging and positioning for Unstructured
Translate product capabilities into value propositions and technical narratives tailored to developers, data engineers, and enterprise decision-makers
Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify trends, white space opportunities, and differentiation levers
Cross-functional Product Collaboration
Partner with Product Managers to shape feature launch strategy, positioning, and messaging from the earliest stages of development
Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product to understand the technical roadmap and translate it into externally facing communications
Work with Sales and Customer Success to gather feedback from technical buyers and integrate it into positioning and content strategy
Content and Enablement
Create and maintain technical marketing assets, including datasheets, solution briefs, whitepapers, demo scripts, battlecards, and presentations
Own and produce technical blog posts, product update writeups, and release announcements that engage the community and explain complex concepts clearly
Deliver and scale internal enablement through product walkthroughs, competitive briefings, and objection-handling materials
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science); MBA or advanced technical degree is a plus.
5–8 years of experience in technical product marketing, solutions engineering, technical evangelism, or related roles for a software product.
Deep familiarity with ETL pipelines, LLMs, data infrastructure, or developer platforms.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills – able to craft stories that resonate with both technical and business stakeholders.
Demonstrated success in marketing technical products
Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and highly collaborative startup culture.
