Summary 

We’re hiring a Senior Technical Lead / Principal Engineer to guide the architecture, integration strategy, and technical delivery of our digital growth products. This person will be the go-to expert and advisor across product and engineering — providing decisive technical leadership, ensuring our systems scale, and enabling our shift toward AI-augmented delivery as a strategic model for faster, smarter product development. 

 

You won’t be writing production code day-to-day, but you’ll set the direction and support our Salesforce developers, front-end specialists, and AI-augmented delivery teams with hands-on guidance when needed. You’ll also help product and business teams understand technical tradeoffs so we can move faster and build better. 

 

Why This Role Matters 

Our teams are building in React, Salesforce, Vercel, Convex, CassidyAI and Ejento — a platform for building and deploying AI coworkers — with deployments on Azure. We’re now invested in AI-augmented delivery to reduce time-to-value, and we need a technical leader who can help shape this shift, reduce delivery friction, and guide us to make smart architecture decisions early and often. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Architectural Leadership 

  • Own the technical architecture across our current platforms (React, Salesforce, Ejento, Vercel, Convex, CassidyAI), with the flexibility and foresight to support emerging technologies — including tools that enable AI-augmented delivery. 

  • Make final decisions on tools, patterns, integrations, and implementation strategies. 

  • Serve as a trusted advisor on system design, scalability, and trade-offs. 

Delivery Enablement 

  • Champion AI-augmented delivery as a technical approach — ensuring we have the right architecture, frameworks, and guardrails to make it successful. Partner with business teams who’ve already driven adoption to help scale and operationalize this model across teams. 

  • Identify blockers and process inefficiencies that slow down engineering teams. 

  • Create clarity for engineers, product managers, and business leaders alike. 

Strategic Oversight 

  • Partner with PMs to align product decisions with technical feasibility. 

  • Resolve cross-platform challenges between Salesforce, Vercel, Convex, CassidyAI and Ejento. 

  • Guide deployments, integrations, and long-term technical evolution. 

Technical Advisory + Mentorship 

  • Be a go-to technical advisor for senior team members — helping simplify decisions, unblock progress, and improve delivery quality. 

  • Review solution designs and help simplify where possible. 

  • Provide light-touch support where code is necessary to guide decisions. 

What You Bring 

  • Proven experience as a technical lead or architect guiding modern digital product teams. 

  • Deep familiarity with Salesforce, Vercel, React, and a willingness to quickly ramp up on Convex, CassidyAI & Ejento (or similar platforms for AI coworker development). 

  • Experience building or integrating with cloud-native systems (preferably on Azure). 

  • Understanding of API-first architecture, data modeling, and scalable integrations. 

  • Strong communicator who can break down complexity and make tough calls. 

  • Familiarity with AI-augmented delivery models, low-code tools, or a track record of embracing new approaches to accelerate development. 

  • Bonus: Experience with observability tools like Datadog. 

 

The Right Fit 

You’re someone who sees three steps ahead, knows how to balance speed and stability, and can confidently say “we’re doing it this way” when the team needs clarity. Your impact comes not from writing the most code, but from shaping the systems, decisions, and environment that let others deliver great technical solutions. 

The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $160,000 to $190,000 per year

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance. We also offer eligible employees health, wellbeing, retirement, and other financial benefits, paid time off, overtime pay for non-exempt employees, and robust learning and development programs.
