The Senior Technical Account Manager will lead onboarding and technical support for partners, manage integrations, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with teams to ensure successful platform adoption.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Viant is looking for a highly motivated Senior Technical Account Manager - IRIS.TV to support Data Partner and Ad Platform integrations across the programmatic video and CTV ecosystem. This individual will be responsible for leading onboarding, technical support, and ongoing maintenance for publishers, broadcasters, SSPs, DSPs, and ad servers, serving as the primary technical contact for partners.
You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Business Development teams to ensure seamless integrations, manage taxonomy ingestion, monitor enrichment performance, and proactively resolve technical issues. By bridging the gap between partner needs and Viant’s platform capabilities, you will help drive adoption, retention, and overall success of IRIS-enabled data solutions in market.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in CTV and programmatic advertising, hands-on experience with integrations, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable communication for both technical and non-technical audiences.
THE DAY-TO-DAY
- Lead technical onboarding and integrations for publisher and data partners.
- Manage day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting across CTV/OLV partners.
- Oversee ad platform integrations, ensuring IRIS_ID/IRIS_CONTEXT availability across SSPs, DSPs, and ad servers.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for Data Partners and Ad Platforms.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business Development teams to support adoption and partner success.
- Maintain client-facing documentation and best practices for integrations.
- Monitor enrichment performance, manage taxonomy ingestion, and provide QA.
GREAT TO HAVE
- 5–7 years of experience in programmatic ad tech, ideally in CTV/video.
- 2+ years in technical account management or solutions engineering.
- Strong knowledge of programmatic video/CTV, DSPs/SSPs, and OpenRTB.
- Hands-on experience with video CMS, ad-serving platforms, SSAI/CSAI, and major sell-side vendors.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in Excel; SQL and API (REST/GraphQL) experience a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree required.Experience with SSPs/ad servers (e.g., GAM, FreeWheel, SpringServe) and DSPs (e.g., DV360, The Trade Desk).
- Familiarity with identity/privacy solutions (UID2, ID5, GDPR/CPRA).
- Knowledge of VAST/VMAP, HLS/DASH, Prebid, IAS/DV/MOAT.
- Strong documentation and process discipline.
