Join Alvys, an early-stage company transforming the nearly $1T US freight industry! We’re looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter to own and drive full-cycle recruiting for our technical organization. This role will be a strategic partner to Engineering, Product, and Design leaders, while also being hands-on in sourcing, closing, and continuously improving our hiring processes.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, People Programs & Strategy, you’ll work in close partnership to scale technical hiring efficiently and in alignment with our broader talent strategy.

What You’ll DoFull-Cycle Technical Recruiting
- Own end-to-end recruiting for technical roles across Engineering, Product, and Design
- Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, ideal candidate profiles, and hiring timelines
- Manage candidates through the full lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and close
Sourcing & Talent Strategy
- Proactively source passive technical talent using LinkedIn, Greenhouse, referrals, and creative sourcing strategies
- Build and maintain strong pipelines for current and future technical hiring needs
- Develop market insights around talent availability, compensation expectations, and hiring trends
Hiring Manager Partnership
- Act as a trusted advisor to technical leaders on hiring strategy, interview design, and decision-making
- Provide data-driven guidance on tradeoffs between speed, quality, and leveling
- Ensure interview panels are effective, consistent, and candidate-friendly
Process, Systems & Data
- Own technical recruiting workflows in our ATS, ensuring data accuracy and clean reporting
- Continuously improve recruiting processes, interview practices, and candidate experience
- Track and report on key metrics (time-to-hire, pipeline health, conversion rates, etc.)
Candidate Experience & Employer Brand
- Deliver a thoughtful, transparent, and welcoming candidate experience
- Serve as an ambassador for Alvys’ culture, values, and mission throughout the hiring process
- Partner with People and Marketing on employer branding initiatives as needed
Required
- 3-5 years of experience in in-house, full cycle technical recruiting, ideally in a high-growth SaaS or startup environment
- Proven experience recruiting for software engineering and technical roles
- Strong sourcing skills with a track record of hiring passive candidates
- Hands-on experience using Application Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Ability to influence and partner with senior technical stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience recruiting across Engineering, Product, and Design
- Experience supporting distributed or fully remote teams
- Familiarity with leveling frameworks, compensation bands, and structured interview processes
- Experience partnering closely with Leadership and People Teams on scaling initiatives
