As the Senior Tax Manager you will be responsible for shaping our Company’s tax strategies. Directly reporting to the Company’s Sr. Director and Controller you will play a critical role in tax compliance and planning to ensure tax risk and liabilities are minimized. 

In this role you will:
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for all tax compliance and planning for the company and its subsidiaries.

  • Prepare timely and accurate federal state and local income tax returns for multiple entities (LLC, Corporate).

  • Work directly with members and tax advisors regarding tax compliance matters including state tax payments and deliverables.

  • Provide tax compliance planning and support related to foreign disregarded entities

  • Lead quarterly state planning and compliance processes to ensure timely estimated payment and disclosures.

  • Manage interaction with tax agencies regarding auditing, inquiries and notices.

  • Prepare monthly tax distributions to members.

  • Propose and implement processes to improve tax planning, compliance, enhance the efficiency and accuracy of tax reporting procedures.

  • Work with FP&A team to develop tax forecasts to assist in forecasting and tax planning.

  • Support companies equity compensation program tax needs including issuance and monetization of units.

  • Support global transfer pricing process to ensure companies follow tax regulation enforced by various localities.

  • Conduct research to provide technical guidance on evolving tax laws, regulatory changes and the impact to the company.

  • Provide tax support to internal stakeholders for business changes and special projects.

Role Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience, prior experience in public accounting preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

  • CPA or Master's degree preferred.

  • General partnership and corporate tax knowledge including US federal and state income tax, and sales and use tax. 

  • Understanding of federal and multi-state income taxation and complex tax issues.  Some exposure to international tax and transfer pricing preferred.

  • Proven track record of reliability and accurate work product.

  • Detail oriented with good analytical skills

  • Advanced skills in Excel

  • Familiarity with Netsuite
