Are you a strategic recruiter who thrives on identifying specialized talent and advising business leaders on complex hiring needs? Join our team as a Senior Talent Acquisition Recruiter and play a key role in attracting and hiring experienced professionals for specialist-level positions across the organization. You will combine market insight, proactive sourcing, disciplined execution, and trusted stakeholder partnership to deliver high-quality hiring outcomes and an exceptional candidate experience.

In this role, you will focus on recruiting for specialized and hard-to-fill positions by:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for specialist-level and hard-to-fill roles while balancing quality, pace, compliance, and candidate experience.
  • Serve as a consultative partner to hiring managers and business leaders by translating business needs into effective talent strategies and realistic hiring plans.
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies using direct outreach, professional networks, referrals, talent communities, research, and role-specific channels.
  • Assess candidates for technical expertise, functional capability, leadership behaviors, and alignment with role requirements.
  • Use labor market intelligence, competitive insights, and recruiting data to influence decisions and address talent supply challenges.
  • Build diverse pipelines for current openings and anticipated specialist talent needs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and scalable recruiting practices across the Talent Acquisition team.
Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for specialist-level positions, ensuring alignment with workforce plans, business priorities, approved requirements, and hiring timelines.

  • Conduct thorough intake discussions to define role scope, critical capabilities, candidate profiles, selection criteria, sourcing strategy, and interview plans.

  • Advise hiring managers on talent availability, market conditions, compensation considerations, competitive positioning, and recruiting risks.

  • Create and execute targeted sourcing plans to identify passive and active candidates through direct sourcing, professional networks, referrals, job boards, talent communities, and other relevant channels.

  • Engage, screen, and assess candidates using structured, job-related criteria, presenting qualified talent with clear and evidence-based recommendations.

  • Build and maintain pipelines for recurring, niche, and future specialist talent needs.

  • Guide hiring teams through effective, consistent, and inclusive selection practices while maintaining momentum and accountability throughout the process.

  • Coordinate interviews, manage candidate communication, and provide a professional, transparent experience from initial outreach through disposition or hire.

  • Support offer development and candidate closure in partnership with hiring managers, HR, Compensation, and other stakeholders.

  • Maintain accurate requisition, candidate, and hiring documentation in the applicant tracking system and ensure compliance throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

  • Monitor recruiting metrics, pipeline health, market response, time-to-fill, conversion, and offer acceptance to identify risks and improve outcomes.

  • Share talent intelligence, sourcing practices, and process improvements with colleagues and contribute to broader Talent Acquisition initiatives.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Talent Acquisition.
  • Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle recruitment for professional, technical, functional, or other specialist-level positions.
  • Proven ability to develop targeted sourcing strategies and engage passive candidates in competitive or talent-constrained markets.
  • Strong consultation, influencing, and relationship-management skills, with the ability to advise hiring managers and business leaders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, including the ability to articulate opportunities and provide clear market-based recommendations.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems, sourcing platforms, recruiting technology, and data to manage searches and inform decisions.
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex requisitions, stakeholders, and competing priorities.
  • Proactive, collaborative, results-driven mindset with sound judgment, attention to detail, and a commitment to an inclusive candidate experience.
  • Comfort working in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities and specialized hiring needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting across multiple business functions, technical disciplines, or geographic markets.
  • Experience supporting hard-to-fill searches and using talent mapping, market research, or competitive intelligence.
  • Knowledge of employment practices, recruiting compliance, and inclusive hiring principles.
  • Experience mentoring recruiters, leading recruiting projects, or contributing to process improvement initiatives.
