Reporting to the Manager - Talent Acquisition (hi, it’s me writing this posting!), you'll be essential in driving the growth of our Insurance teams across Zensurance. You'll join a dedicated talent team focused on enabling our company's growth. You’ll act as a strategic partner to the business, managing a high-volume portfolio and focusing on specialized roles critical to our commercial success.
Previous experience recruiting within the insurance industry is highly desirable for this role. We'll also happily review applications from candidates who have significant industry experience but are new to Talent Acquisition.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Portfolio: Handle 6+ roles each month for key Insurance positions (e.g., Brokers, Underwriters, Renewal Managers). This role is critical to our commercial success.
- Strategic Partnership: You'll act as a strategic partner to hiring managers, delivering high-quality candidates while ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
- Full-Cycle Ownership: Own the process from needs assessment to offer negotiation, ensuring a smooth and timely experience for everyone.
- Specialist Sourcing: Develop deep talent pools within the insurance industry using innovative sourcing techniques and your network.
- Elevate Candidate Experience: Make sure every candidate, whether hired or not, has a positive experience that reflects well on Zensurance. You'll maintain strong communication with timely feedback.
- Process Improvement: Look for ways to improve our recruitment methods, share your knowledge of market trends with the team, and keep our data accurate in the ATS (Lever).
Requirements:
- Relevant Experience: You've got 5+ years of experience in agency or in-house recruitment, a focus on insurance talent is a strong asset.
- Strong Results: Show expertise in full-cycle recruiting, consistently meeting time-to-hire and candidate satisfaction targets.
- Candidate Focus: Show a deep commitment to exceptional candidate experience. You'll make sure that positive feeling lasts from the first message to the final offer.
- Communication Style: Have strong communication and creative sourcing. You're able to craft a compelling story that connects with candidates and gets them to act.
- Data Smart: Have a data-informed mindset. You know funnel metrics and hiring trends, and use those insights to influence and improve our strategy.
- Relationship Building: Have top-notch relationship building. You'll be a trusted partner to hiring managers and an advocate for inclusive hiring practices.
- Drive and Focus: You're proactive, results-driven, and you've got an eye for detail.
- Organizational Skills: You're highly organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Recruitment Tools: Experience with Lever or a similar ATS; we're also big fans of using tools like Metaview to coach and improve interviews.
