🌟 Your Impact at Lila

Lila Sciences is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. This role is critical to supporting IT Operations and Cloud teams by managing IT systems and cloud infrastructure. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, leadership in system enhancements, and collaboration across multiple departments to optimize IT solutions. A strong background in supporting multiple business units that are utilizing cutting-edge technology and leveraging cloud computing is required.

🛠️ What You'll Be Building

• Hands on engineering for cloud infrastructure primarily AWS
• Provision new infrastructure and integrate AWS account onboarding workflows and IAM principles.
• Cloud & IT Systems Engineering: Integrate and monitor cloud-based services and IT systems (Okta, EntraID, O365)
• Work with stakeholders, including third party vendors, to design, build, run, and maintain IT systems, network, and applications
• Implement workflows to resolve critical vulnerabilities, ensuring compliance with security best practices.

🧰 What You’ll Need to Succeed

• 7-10 years of experience as a systems engineer or equivalent, with 2-4 years specifically working with AWS or possessing equivalent AWS certifications.
• In-depth knowledge in troubleshooting and a proven ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• A degree in IT is preferred. (e.g. Computer Sciences, Management Information Systems)
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.
