Senior Systems Architect
Strategic Resources, Inc. (SRI) is seeking a Senior Microsoft Power Platform Developer / Architect to design and deliver enterprise-grade solutions supporting large-scale federal programs.
This role is not a low-code app builder position. The selected candidate will be responsible for architecting, integrating, and scaling secure, data-driven solutions that operate across distributed environments, support hundreds of users, and enable measurable operational outcomes.
You will work directly with business development, capture, and program leadership to translate mission requirements into deployable solutions that improve efficiency, reporting, and user experience at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver end-to-end Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI) for enterprise use
- Design secure, scalable data models and workflows supporting multi-site, role-based operations
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with:
- Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook)
- External systems and APIs (e.g., case management, reporting systems, DoD enterprise tools)
- Develop automated workflows that reduce administrative burden and improve process efficiency
- Build executive-level dashboards and analytics using Power BI
- Implement governance, security, and compliance controls aligned with federal and DoD requirements
- Support capture and proposal effortsby:
- Translating requirements into technical solutions
- Developing live demos and prototypes
- Contributing to technical volumes and solution narratives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (BD, SMEs, operations) to align solutions with mission needs
- Establish best practices, standards, and documentation for Power Platform development
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in application development, with 3+ years architecting solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform
- Demonstrated experience building enterprise-scale solutions (not standalone apps)
- Strong experience with:
- Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven)
- Power Automate (complex workflows, approvals, integrations)
- Dataverse (data modeling, relationships, security roles)
- Power BI (data modeling, DAX, executive dashboards)
- Experience integrating with REST APIs, Azure services, or external data sources
- Proven ability to design and implement role-based access, security, and governance models
- Experience working in federal or highly regulated environments
- Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting DoD or federal human capital programs (e.g., training, counseling, workforce development)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure (Logic Apps, Functions, API Management)
- Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, ALM for Power Platform)
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-600, PL-400)
- Active security clearance (Secret or higher)
