Senior Systems Administrator

We are seeking Senior Systems Administrators to support mission-critical efforts. These positions are being recruited in anticipation of upcoming program growth and current available roles.

Responsibilities include:

• Construct, test and install Salt Stack packages 
• Construct Microsoft Windows and Linux virtual machine images that meet STIG requirements 
• Manage Azure Application Gateway, Azure Storage, Azure Virtual Machines 
• Manage Azure Kubernetes Service and deployments 
• Ensure all system deliverables meet the requirements of DOD and USAF cybersecurity 
• Ensure cybersecurity documentation is completed IAW DOD and USAF policy 
• Participate as a key member of the DevSecOps / Cloud Services team 
• Other duties as assigned 
  

Qualifications/Technical experience required:

• Must be a US citizen
• 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Windows and Linux system administration 
• 5+ years of cybersecurity related work experience 
• Secret Security clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree or related years of experience within DoD setting
  

 All positions at Applied Research Solutions are subject to background investigations. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation including criminal history and identity check.

The expected annual salary range: $130k - $160k. Salary is dependent upon the role and associated responsibilities, candidate's experience, work location and qualifications to include education/training, and key skills.
