We are searching for an extraordinary  Sr. System Software Engineer for an exciting and fun role in our Deep Learning Accelerator (DLA/NPU) team. Our team is responsible for the DLA system software stack as well as the end-to-end DLA system SW stack including user mode drivers, kernel mode drivers, and firmware. DLA supports a growing range of deep-learning use-cases, ranging from self-driving cars, smart embedded systems, video game frameworks, and content creation. 

What you'll be doing: 

  • Design and maintain the Deep Learning Accelerator system software for next generation NVIDIA hardware  

  • Develop advanced software for optimizing neural networks  

  • Collaborate with members of hardware architecture teams 

 

What we need to see: 

  • Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)  

  • 7+ years of experience developing and leading complex system software, firmware, and kernel drivers 

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills with a capability to achieve objectives under tight deadlines  

  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining complex software stacks  

  • Need to demonstrate strong C and C++ programming skills with experience working with large codebases  

  • Strong time-management and organization skills for coordinating multiple initiatives, priorities and implementations of new technology and products into very complex projects  

  • You will have strong teamwork, interpersonal, and problem solving skills

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 4, and 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD for Level 5.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
