The summary above was generated by AI

NVIDIA’s invention of the GPU in 1999 fueled the growth of the PC gaming market, redefined modern computer graphics, and revolutionized parallel computing. More recently, GPU deep learning ignited modern AI — the next era of computing — with the GPU acting as the brain of computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can perceive and understand the world. Today, we are increasingly known as “the AI computing company”. We're looking to grow our company, and build our teams with the most resourceful people in the world. Join us at the forefront of technological advancement.

  • Partner with Hardware, Software, and Firmware development teams to align on deliverables and priorities.

What we need to see:

  • BS or Masters in computer science, or related field or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience.

  • Excellent communication and planning skills.

  • Familiarity with at least one major Linux distro (Ubuntu, RedHat, SLES) is required.

  • Experience with complex system-level debugging is invaluable.

  • Solid understanding of GPU server architecture.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Understanding kernel development methodologies is recommended.

  • Experience writing software in GitHub with exposure to opensource development life cycle is desired.

  • Knowledge of NVIDIA technologies used within NVIDIA server products is another way to be highlighted.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
