Job Description

• BA/BS in CS, MIS or equivalent experience 

• Minimum of five years’ experience supporting the following is preferred: 

- Server OS: Microsoft Windows 2000 / 2003R2 / 2008R2 Active Directory and 2012R2 

- Messaging: Exchange 2010, BES, and ProofPoint 

- Desktop OS: Windows XP and Windows 7 

- Backup: Symantec Backup Exec 11 or higher; EMC Avamar 

- Anti-Virus: Symantec Endpoint Anti-Virus 11 or higher 

- Deployment tools: SCCM 

• Minimum of four years’ experience installing, configuring, administration and managing 

- Storage: EMC (Unisphere, Centera, Celerra, VNX, and Data Domain) and Sun StorageTek SAN 

- Virtualization: VMWare ESX 

• Experience with configuring and troubleshooting server hardware (Dell and HP preferred) 

• Microsoft/VMware certifications preferred 

• A Highly self-motivated individual who has the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. 

• Ability to handle multiple tasks while prioritizing and delivering results on time. 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

• Must be able to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization 

• Must have strong analytical skills 

• Must be able and willing to take on leadership role 

• Ability to think strategically with technical vision 

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
