Senior Supply Chain Planner

Overview of Role

ZwitterCo is seeking a motivated Senior Supply Chain Planner to be responsible for planning supplies and managing supplier relations required by the organizations’ manufacturing facilities. The right person for this role will be able to anticipate and maintain necessary supplies to ensure the organization and its production runs smoothly. 

Key to this role is the ability to schedule production, order materials and supplies to meet manufacturing needs.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Supply Chain Planner is responsible for monitoring and managing inventories and forecasting materials that are needed. This position is the main point of contact and works closely with vendors, operations, and sales to ensure that plans are aligned with supply and demand.

• Responsible for scheduling and prioritizing supplies and materials needed
• Developing and executing action plans to resolve production issues
• Maintain supplier relations; act as point of contact between organization and suppliers
• Conduct supplier negotiations
• Process customer orders and direct operations team when to ship out product
• Responsible for maintaining Airtable Order to Ship folder and customer orders
• Update SOPs and provide guidance to crew members when process or product changes
• Facilitate meetings for Weekly Operations Planning, S&OP, MRB
• Including collecting data, sending out supplier forecasts, presenting information and making recommendations
• Schedule and track outbound shipments; track inbound shipments from suppliers
• Responsible for updating and maintaining Netsuite AIM and Arena 
• Build and updated Standard Cost Models
• Research new or alternative sourcing/manufacturing for raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished goods for NPI team or to strengthen supply chain
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelors’ degree is required
• Must have 3-5 years' manufacturing and/or supply chain experience 
• Water industry or toll coating experience is a plus, but not required

Location, Travel and Compensation

This position is located in Woburn, MA and reports directly to the Vice President of Operations.

This role involves little or no travel.
