The Conversions organization helps drive PTC’s transformation by implementing innovative and cutting-edge programs to convert our Support Customers into PTC’s Subscription Model and drive other Complex Transactions.

The Conversion Sales Specialist will report to the Global Conversions & Complex Sales Director and be responsible for supporting our Field Organization to execute these end-to-end transactions.

In this fast paced and highly dynamic role, you will ensure that the business goals and needs of the Sales & Subscription Management organizations are realized. You will work cross-functionally across PTC to ensure alignment between Field Sales, Renewal Sales, Product Segments, Operations and other members of the extended team to protect and grow recurring revenue.

Day-To-Day:

  • Achieve assigned Revenue Target & KPI Objectives across assigned Complex Sales transactions including converting PTC Support Customers to subscription
  • Provide leadership to a cross-functional team comprised of Sales, Renewals, Customer Success, Operations, Marketing, etc.
  • Significantly extend existing Customer relationships across our solution, contract and revenue models
  • Drive and manage the entire Conversion & Complex Transaction sales cycle – from identifying the right opportunities, engaging focus accounts, building value propositions, and negotiating a close
  • Investigate and understand the business needs of existing customers to help them transition from legacy to current offerings
  • Create a great customer experience for PTC Customers
  • Help PTC Partners understand program composition and the value of executing to their customers
  • Provide suggestions to ensure continued improvement of the Complex Sales process
  • Work with Marketing and Sales to identify outbound campaigns that increase program awareness and opportunities

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

  • Must be results and customer oriented
  • Is proactive, self-motivated, and takes ownership for problem resolution
  • Ability to motivate cross-functional team members to achieve goals and objectives
  • Hands on experience in managing sales opportunities
  • Customer- and Partner-facing negotiating and sales experience
  • Perpetual Support, Subscription, PLM, SaaS & Cloud knowledge preferred

PTC carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, which may include the background and experience of all applicants, which can cause your compensation to vary. PTC anticipates the salary range for this position to be between 100,000-130,000 OTE (60/40 Split).  The actual pay may be lower or higher depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses. Also, every PTC employee also has the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder, both through its stock grant programs or its employee share purchase program which allows employees to purchase PTC stock at a discount.
