Our Values

If this sounds like you, you’ll fit right in.

Who You Are

You are a systems thinker with a natural ability to see the bigger picture and break it into actionable, scalable processes. Self-driven and relentlessly curious, you are motivated by the challenge of solving complex problems and continuously improving. You thrive in high-performing environments, bringing clarity and structure to ambiguity while inspiring collaboration across diverse teams. With a passion for building systems that empower others, you are driven to contribute to meaningful, impactful work.

Reporting to the Head of Strategy & Operations - Technology, and supporting the VP of Product as your main executive, you will lead efforts to design and mature the operating systems, strategy, and tools that enable our Product organizations. You’ll work with Product leaders to ensure strategic priorities are executed efficiently and effectively, driving measurable outcomes and organizational maturity. This role is about operationalizing strategy, aligning stakeholders, and building a product culture that attracts and produces the best Product talent in NYC.

Your Success ProfileWhat You Will Work On
  • Develop Operating System for Product: Design and implement the Tech Operating system in partnership with other members of Strat Ops and L200, and drive the implementation of the associated Product OS. Partner with the Mission Team Leads (MTL) to develop programming as part of our Product OS, such as rolling out a more consistent PDLC, or developing AI curriculum for Product Managers. Observe, measure and iterate on the Operating System by consulting the VP of Product and other key stakeholders, and execute iterations in partnership with MTLs.
  • Build forums and cadences for partnership with other departments: Help bring transparency and predictability to the ways in which other departments partner with Tech and Product, including standing up and running recurring forums like our Tech x CSO meeting, and MBRs. Ensure that the forums and cadences increase trust and partnership with Product, while also using them to create tight feedback loops, and enable data-driven and customer centric decision-making within Product.
  • Managing our portfolio of work: Build and maintain a clear, accurate view of how each Mission Team’s roadmap connects to company priorities, and help develop and evolve a portfolio-level view of all initiatives—tracking progress, highlighting risks, and bringing visibility to unplanned work that impacts team capacity. When needed, you’ll help identify where incremental investment could unlock outsized value, partnering closely with Mission Team Leads, the VP of Product, and Finance to make resourcing decisions that are timely, defensible, and tied to impact.
  • Strategic thought partner to VP of Product: Serve as a strategic thought partner to the VP of Product, helping shape and pressure-test narratives that clarify priorities, tradeoffs, and progress—both internally and externally. This includes supporting the development of board materials, executive updates, and planning forums, ensuring they reflect both the detail and altitude needed to drive alignment and decision-making. Act as a sounding board for sensitive or complex topics, offering perspective that helps turn ambiguity into action.
  • Lead forums that drive alignment and momentum: Lead key forums for the VP of Product’s direct reports, ensuring these spaces are focused, well-run, and driving the right discussions and decisions. You’ll also partner with Strategy & Operations leaders across Engineering, Design, and Data to shape and support Tech-wide forums—helping create a cohesive cadence of rituals that reinforce prioritization, accountability, and shared context across the organization.
  • Ad Hoc Responsibilities: Perform other related responsibilities as needed based on department and/or organizational needs

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
