Who is Credible?

We are a marketplace where users can compare personalized, prequalified rates and quotes from multiple lenders and carriers, for student loans, mortgages, personal loans, and insurance.

We’re challenging the status quo by giving power to the consumer. We believe in a world where ‘ethical’, ‘lending’, and ‘insurance’ can coexist, so we set out to build innovative platforms that actually work for customers. Our mission is to help people find the best loan or insurance policy possible.

We believe researching and buying loans or insurance shouldn’t be confusing or complex, so we’ve focused on simplicity. We’ve created the only unbiased loan and insurance buying process out there, which makes finding options straightforward and clear.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly analytical, business-savvy Senior Strategic Partnerships Analyst to join our team. This role is not just about pulling data—it’s about interpreting it, identifying strategic opportunities, and directly impacting business outcomes. You will serve as a critical bridge between data analytics and business execution, ensuring that our partnerships operate at peak performance while uncovering areas for growth and optimization.

As part of our Partnerships team, you will proactively analyze performance trends, identify inefficiencies, and provide actionable insights to drive revenue and improve partner relationships. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across business development, product, and marketing to ensure our partnership strategies are informed by data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic thought partner to the Partnerships team, leveraging data to optimize partner performance and identify new opportunities.
  • Conduct proactive deep-dive analyses to uncover revenue-driving insights, conversion optimizations, and efficiency improvements.
  • Monitor partner performance trends and provide regular insights to leadership, flagging data discrepancies and business risks before they impact results.
  • Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reporting tools that surface key trends in real-time.
  • Work with business leaders to define and refine key success metrics, ensuring alignment between data insights and company goals.
  • Collaborate with data engineering to ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting functions.
  • Proactively identify data gaps and inconsistencies, working cross-functionally to enhance data quality and analytical depth.
  • Present insights and recommendations to executive leadership in a clear, compelling manner that drives business action.

Education and Experience:

  • BA/BS in Business, Economics, Data Science, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a strategic finance role, ideally in a partnerships, marketplace, or commercial strategy function.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
  • Experience working with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of financial and operational metrics within partnerships, marketplaces, or revenue-generating teams.
  • Experience structuring and analyzing A/B or multivariate tests.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python preferred) for data analysis is a plus.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, ideally within fintech, e-commerce, or B2B/B2C marketplaces.

Must Have:

  • Strong commercial mindset—ability to connect data insights with real business impact.
  • Proactive, independent thinker who doesn’t just analyze but questions and optimizes.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity, prioritizing effectively, and driving clarity through data.
  • Ability to tell a story with data—strong communication and presentation skills.
  • A relentless focus on accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving.
  • Passion for partnerships and marketplace dynamics, with a natural curiosity to explore new growth levers.

This role is ideal for a data-driven strategist who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys connecting analytical rigor with business success.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
