About the Role: The Strategic Analytics team is dedicated to driving business growth, and enhancing business efficiency and profitability. We’re looking for a senior, technically advanced analyst to solve complex business problems and influence strategic decisions. In this role, you will leverage extensive data and your expertise in SQL and Python to solve strategic problems and build tailored analytics solutions. This is a high-impact position where you will have the opportunity to tackle a wide range of business problems in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver tailored analytical solutions.
- Handle a wide range of analytical requests from defining metrics to forecasting to identifying churn signals to quantifying impact of new product features with a deep understanding of business context.
- Apply predictive analytics techniques as appropriate, such as regression or clustering, to solve complex business problems with accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop compelling dashboards and automated reporting related to key performance metrics.
- Communicate results and influence key decision makers, including engineering and business leadership.
- Serve as a technical thought leader and mentor for other analysts on the team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 7+ years of relevant programming and analytical experience.
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Strong background in statistical modeling and predictive analytics techniques, with practical experience applying them (classification problems, A/B testing, causal inference, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to present to leadership, and translate complex technical concepts for stakeholders at all levels.
- Keen attention to detail and a drive to understand the business context behind the data.
- Master’s degree in a quantitative field, such as Computer Science, Data Science, or Data Analytics, is a plus.
- Extensive experience with tools and techniques in machine learning is a plus.
